My Roman Empire is the friendship that must have developed between Sam and Natasha and how we never got to see it. You're telling me that Steve, Nat, Sam, and Wanda were on the run together for a couple of years, and we didn't see any of it? We get glimpses of Nat and Steve's protectiveness over Wanda, as well as Sam and Steve's relationship, but we got nothing with Sam and Nat. They would have made the best duo! They would constantly joke and pick on Steve together and bond over not having powers. The glimpses we got in Winter Soldier and Civil War just aren't enough. I need more of them!

I just rewatched "Endgame," and you will never convince me that Steve Rogers went back in time and lived a happy life with Peggy while knowing what Bucky and Natasha were going through at that time. I refuse to believe he would stand by and let everything happen without intervening. I can understand him going back to get closure with Peggy, but the idea of him marrying her and choosing to ignore everything else? No, that just didn't happen, and I don't care what anyone says. Especially not after all the development he and Peggy went through trying to move on from one another.
(also, Steve never would have stayed behind if Natasha had lived idc)

and then they became my favorite marvel ships…clearly I have a type lol
Depressed lonely man who had a difficult sad life accidentally bonds with a blonde traumatized woman and gets obsessed with her safety to the point he'd burn the world for her, creating the best marvel dynamic bc also accidentally the actors had too much chemistry

I'm so tired of ship wars! They're so exhausting. If you don't like a ship, just don't interact with it. I've been dealing with this a lot recently—specifically with the Daredevil triangle, the debates over Andor and Rogue, and Thunderbolts. I just want to enjoy my ships and for everyone to stop hating on everything.
If a post is anti your ship, block and move on. If you come across a post featuring a ship you dislike, block and move on. Everyone has a right to an opinion and as long as it is not harmful, that's okay. Fandoms are supposed to be fun, so let's stop arguing and mind our own business, please.

literally tho! Andor only proved that rebelcaptian are in fact soulmates that have been connected their entire lives. plus Bix broke up with him and they both (especially him) seem happier apart. I think that even if he lived they would just be good co-parents and friends. Jyn would be a great step mom and her and Bix would probably get along great. Its a win-win for everybody 🤷‍♀️
Tony Gilroy - andor proves that Jyn and Cassian are just friends, he's got a kid and a wife
every fucking person with eyes - no it proves how intertwined the two are and how they both need the same thing in a relationship. you've put soulmatism into your show that's what you've done

Daredevil: Born Again (kastle), Andor season 2, Percy Jackson season 2, Thunderbolts (Boblena), The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3, Sunrise on the Reaping, the new Superman movie, the Pitt (Mel/Langdon), stranger things season 5, and the live action HTTYD!! Like the world is on fire but at least I have my fangirl obsessions to keep me company lol

This literally summarizes up my thoughts on Andor, Bix/Cassian, and Jyn/Cassian perfectly! I love show and nothing about the ending ruined Rouge One or rebelcaptian for me. Instead I love them and the movie more! I don’t like Bix’s choice but I understand it. She and Cassian loved each other but were not in love. They found comfort and familiarity in each other, while he and Jyn had a different connection. They had the potention to be IN love, and I will always love them!
Obligatory disclaimer: I love Bix. She is a healer and a fixer in a galaxy that desperately needs people like that and i respect the hell out of her. This post is absolutely not intended as Bix slander. Hell, it's not even intended as being super against Bix/Cassian, as much as partly an examination of why relationship had to end, even beyond the obvious R1 canon-compliant reasons and within the theming of the show.
Star Wars, at its core, is a love story. In the OT, it was love that saved the galaxy; Luke’s love for his father, and Anakin’s love for Luke, while in the prequels, it was Anakin’s love for Padme that led to the destruction of the Jedi and the birth of the Empire.
Andor is also a love story. But not entirely the kind of love story you’re probably thinking of.
It’s a story of agape; selfless love. A person’s love for humanity. And Andor explores this kind of love through the use of a theme that has been consistent throughout both Andor and Rogue One.
Home.
Both seasons of Andor begin with Cassian trying to find a connection to his home. In s1 that means searching for his sister- his last connection to Kenari. We all remember how that ends. In s2, that means getting the fuck off Yavin and back to Bix, Brasso, Wilmon, and B2- his last connections to Ferrix. Brasso, of course, died, and B2 had to be left behind. In the very next arc, we see Wilmon solidify his bonds with the rebels and Saw, choosing to inhale the Rhydo, become the spark the lights the fire. Choosing the Rebellion over any of his other connections- even, as we saw in the finale, his eventual connection to Dreena. There’s a reason he never told her about the radio under his bed.
Choosing the Rebellion- which, at this point, is everywhere. Wilmon, by choosing the Rebellion, is choosing his love for humanity over his individual relationships.
This is a choice that almost everyone in Andor makes- to keep to themselves and their kind, to choose and prioritize that which is comfortable and familiar, until the truth comes knocking that eventually they won’t have a home to choose unless they rebel against the Empire and fight alongside their fellow man. Lieutenant Gorn made his decision after he “went native” and loved and lost a woman on Aldhani. Maarva begs the people of Ferrix to make it in her speech at the end of s1- “...the moment they pulled away, we forgot them. Because we had each other…if I could do it again, I’d wake up early, and fight these bastards from the start.” We saw Mon Mothma make it in s2e9- leaving Coruscant, abandoning her Chandrilan blue, to become a leader of the Rebellion.
We see Bix struggling too- all season long, she was trying to make a home of where they were at the time, and all the while Cassian was trying to make a home of her. He wanted Bix to be a place of comfort and safety, a place he could go where he didn’t have to “look up” and see the flags of the Empire. Somewhere he could rest easy.
But Bix, after her torture at the hands of Gorst, will never be able to rest easy and turn a blind eye to the suffering of the rest of the galaxy and the need for the Rebellion. It has been haunting her dreams and robbing her of sleep since. And the truth is, neither will Cassian. Any home he found with her would have been a lie.
Cassian may have loved Bix, but he wasn’t in love with her, and it certainly wasn’t a selfless love. Cassian loved her for what she represented. With Bix, Cassian could shut out the atrocities being committed by the Empire, the cries for help, the truths that Mon Mothma, Maarva and eventually Jyn all convey in their speeches: Palpatine is a monster. The Empire is a disease. We created them and it is our duty to stop them; if we give way to enemies with that much power, we doom the galaxy to an eternity of submission. The time to fight is now.
Here’s another truth: for revolution to succeed, it’s not enough to hate your enemy. You have to love the people and place that you’re fighting for and who are fighting for you in turn. You have to put aside your differences and work together, and do so without hesitation.
For the Galaxy to survive, Cassian has to choose the Rebellion. He has to choose selfless love over a love that is selfish. But he can’t bring himself to do it. He’s not Nemik; he’s not a “true believer.” Even less than a day or two before Rogue One begins, Cassian is still being haunted by dreams of his sister and Kenari. He’s still searching for a home.
And then he meets Jyn.
With Jyn, Cassian sees the truth, and he cannot look away. He sees a woman who is a summary of everything terrible the Empire has ever done. He sees someone who is scared, angry, and bitter, who wants nothing more than to escape away to the Outer Rim and turn away from it all- and then he sees her change, into a woman made of stardust and hope who makes the Rebellion her home, and he realizes he can do that too. Cassian doesn't have to cling to the past to find a home; he has one in the present. He sees it on the horizon. He feels it all around him.
"Welcome home," he says, and he believes it.
Cassian sees Jyn, and it's like looking in a mirror.  And then, in the face of a massacre on Jedha, reeling from the loss of not one but two parents, burned by betrayal from the very rebels she's placed her trust in- he watches her open her heart to the Rebellion and choose to save the lives of trillions of others all across the galaxy who will never know her sacrifice. He sees her choose selflessness and love over selfishness and fear, and if she can do it, then so can he. Cassian loves Jyn unconditionally, and it moves him to love the galaxy as well.

! SPOILERS for Andor season 2 finale !
So that last scene happened, and honestly, I don't care about it. I'm not happy about it, but it doesn't change my feelings about Rogue One or the rebelcaptain pairing. My opinions on Cassian/Bix remain the same, as do my thoughts on Jyn/Cassian.
I don't know what the writers were thinking with this plotline; I don't think they achieved what they intended. It didn't change my view of Rogue One or Jyn and Cassian, but it did alter my opinion of Bix. The fact that she made that choice without Cassian—taking away his right to be a father because she chose the rebellion for both of them—just made her seem selfish. I'm frustrated that the writers made me dislike Bix. I loved her character, and now I'm just so disappointed with the lazy writing.
Anyways, I don't want to focus solely on the negative, so I’ll share what I really enjoyed about the finale. I loved seeing Melshi, K-2, and Cassian interact. I was also happy with Vel and Cleya’s ending; I'm glad my girls survived. I loved learning more about Cleya and Lutheans relationship and just more about Cleya in general.!I loved all the hints and Easter eggs sprinkled throughout the episodes. I cried during the ending as Cassian walked through the base, passing by all the people we've met and grown to love throughout the show. I will truly miss this show and its characters, and I hope we don't let some of the negative aspects overshadow our enjoyment of the good parts.

I just finished Thunderbolts and here are my general thoughts! spoilers obviously :)
- I loved it! It was so good! The reluctant found family is great and I'm excited to see more of them. I love what Marvel has been doing recently with Daredevil: Born Again, Thunderbolts, and hopefully the Fantastic Four.
- Not happy about Bucky and Sam being at odds with each other. I hated Avengers Civil War and I don't want a repeat. I get both sides but just don't want my babies fighting, particularly with Bucky teaming up with Walker. I hope they can work everything out though.
- Any mention of Nat made me cry. I will always wish that Marvel had given Nat the opportunity that Yelena has been given. Either way Nat will always have my heart. I miss her everyday. Her and Yelena’s relationship will never fail to get to me.
- I don't hate the “New Avengers” but wish they could just be the Thunderbolts. The name and story behind it fits them so much more.- I love how much Yelena and Bucky are really trying to do something with this team. Their dynamic is just tired parents and I love that lol.
-As for Bob and Yelena…I ship it. I know there's a lot of controversy about them, and idc whether you like them platonically or romantically or whatever. I saw them as a romantic pairing, and I love their dynamic. I don't think anyone should be getting any hate for a ship that is not toxic or harmful. No one should be getting hate no matter if you ship it or not.
- I really like the focus on mental health and the family dynamic that they all had. They all have done awful things but are (mostly) trying to do better and they accept each other at their worst. I also love how none of them are letting Walker gloss over his actions (despite the excuses all his new fans are making) Ava and Yelena constantly picking on him is actually true sibling behavior lol

I just saw the most diabolical edit of Sam and Frodo, paired with Jyn and Cassian. The timing is crazy because I just rewatched The Lord of the Rings yesterday, and the final episodes of Andor come out today. I’m sobbing. Anyway, the username is @morkklanen on TikTok. I binge-watched their edits, and now I’m depressed lol

Mourning the fact that tomorrow is the end of Andor, so here are my thoughts on the last couple of episodes. (If it’s not obvious, SPOILERS for Andor s2 ep 7-9)
- Cassian and Bix: I think this was the best ending for them because it illustrates why they never truly worked as a couple and sets the stage for why he and Jyn work better together. (Again, no hate to Bix or Cassian/Bix shippers; this is just my opinion.) Throughout Season 2, we see Bix and Cassian hold on to their life on Ferrix and the comfort they find in each other, but their relationship is actively holding both of them back.
Then, after a year-long time jump, we see Bix trying to force Cassian to confront his destiny, but he resists. He chooses her and a peaceful life, but she ultimately takes that choice away. I understand her motivations, but it highlights another reason why Bix and Cassian would never work: they loved each other, but they were no longer in love. Both were clinging to the only thing they knew in a world they no longer recognized, and in the end, just like everyone else in Cassian's life, she made the final choice for him. She knew he was using her to escape, just as he had attempted with Maarva in season 1. Cassian never wanted to be a rebel, but he was consistently forced into situations where rebellion seemed to be the only option. He wanted to fight, but was never all in. Bix was his way out, but she refused to be that for him.
While this was necessary, it is still a tragic situation. I don’t hate Bix for her decision; it was her choice to leave, and he could have still left without her. It’s sad, but I believe this was the best ending for them and provides insight into why Cassian is the way he is in Rogue One, and why his relationship with Jyn was ultimately healthier. In their brief time together, he gave her a purpose, and she gave him a choice. Together, they chose the rebellion: she chose to fight for her new home, and he remembered why he was fighting in the first place.
- The Gormahn Rebellion: The entire thing was devastating. It hit very close to where we are now, which made it all the more heartbreaking. I cried the entire time.
- Syril: I know some found Syril’s ending anticlimactic, but I thought it was perfect. The way he died, realizing that he had been on the wrong side all this time. The government he dedicated his life to, and the woman he thought he loved, ultimately used him. Then in the midst of the massacre, he saw the man who started it all, Cassian Andor, and almost killed him, only to realize that Andor had no idea who he was. In the end, Syril died realizing how insignificant he truly was in all of this; he died as he lived—a pawn of the Empire.
-Mon Mothma, Bail Organa, and Luthen: What I love most about the series is the depth it gives to the rebellion. We see the various types of rebellion and how each plays a part in overthrowing the Empire. Bail Organa operates within the system. He isn't naive or a coward, but he understands that his role is to work from the inside. Then there's Luthen, who sees people as tools. He crosses ethical lines and sets aside his morality for the “greater good.” While he may not be a good person, he recognizes that he's necessary for achieving that greater goal. Mon Mothma, on the other hand, believes that goodness can prevail. She feels she can no longer operate within a corrupt system, and her morals guide her decisions. She recognizes the wrongs around her and feels compelled to speak out. Mon reminds those who have sacrificed their lives and souls that there is still hope and that goodness exists. Each of these characters is important and necessary to the rebellion, and I love that we get to see how they all fail in areas where others succeed. They are all essential to the success of the rebellion.
I have so many more thoughts, but this post is long enough. I can't believe this series ends tomorrow. Andor is one of the best projects in the Star Wars franchise, and I will miss it and the characters so much.

Missing RebelCaptain while watching Andor. I love Bix and Cassian’s relationship, but it’s not a ship for me personally. The two ships and dynamics feel very different to me, and it never seemed like Bix and Cassian were still in love. They had a relationship in the past and both still deeply care for each other and find comfort in one another, but are not IN love anymore. They are all the family they have left.
I just don’t want Andor to undermine Rogue One and the relationship between Jyn and Cassian. No matter what happens, I will firmly believe that these two were in love. I’ve been shipping them for too long to stop now. They gave each other new hope and purpose, and their connection was so palpable. They found home in each other after losing so much. I just love them so much and hope we get some breadcrumbs at least!
Note: not hate to Bix/Cassian shippers! Feel free to ship who you want, and I hope we can all be kind to each other no matter who you ship! All of these are amazing characters who I love dearly, this was just my little rant after watching too many sad edits lol.

I will always love series like Andor because they focus on the common person rather than the Jedi. While the Jedi are interesting and played a significant role in the rebellion, series like Andor are compelling because they highlight the stories of individuals without special abilities who still participated in the rebellion.
It also reveals the harsh realities of war and illustrates that there are good people on both sides. While the Rebels may be considered on the right side of history, this doesn't mean that all of them are inherently good or that they are fighting for the right reasons. There different types of rebels like Mon Mothma, Cassian, and Luthen. It also explores the human side of the Empire through characters like Syril and Dedra. Although they are not good people, they are still human. They experience fear, anxiety, and have their own problems. They are not merely evil; they are complex individuals—bad people, but still people.
What makes Star Wars so good is not just the Jedi, their lore, and their powers; it's so much more than that. There are many different types of people on each side of the conflict, including the Republic, the Separatists, the Empire, and the Rebellion. I will never understand those who say the new projects are too ‘woke’ or too ‘political.’ It has always been political! That’s what makes it great!
Anyways, thanks for coming to my little rant!
