Our wonderful couple isn't' endgame (BUT ONLY BECAUSE KEVIN HAS BEEN THE SLOWEST MAN ON EARTH!!!) and the writers gave that poor man the "cliché lack of originality are we doing this again" ending BUT "someone" never had and never will, an incredible thoughtful smart gentle funny boss like you (I said boss because we know who the captain is!!!). So thank you for everything you did. Let's keep celebrating kevison together who deserved better, it's true, but at least we can say something that someone else can't: we got almost everything and what we got was pure gold! ♥️

Despite what they��ve done to them, Kevin and Madison will still remain one of the most incredible TV couples ever and nothing can take away what they were and what they could’ve been. Honestly, I just think it's so funny that on Rebecca's death bed, the only thing Sophie can think to say is how similar (lol) her and Kevin's love story is to Rebecca and Jack's. Lmao, what?!?!

I just saw a comment on one of Caitlin’s posts that said “Kevin doesn’t seem that interested in Sophie!!” (👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼) someone replied back and said “he’s literally been in love with her since they were kids...and he’s going through a lot right now” lmao keep telling yourself that babe 😆 It is so great to see people pointing it out. He doesn’t seem interested because he’s not! Ahhhhhh love to see it 🥰

You'd be surprised at just how many people are well beyond dissatisfied by this kophie reunion because I mean, it really is the most unsatisfying, incredibly unrealised and super contrived "happy" ending to the story.

I did my roaming around on all the social platforms because I love reading about people's thoughts and opinions about the show in general and I kid you not, every time there's a poll as to who they wanted Kevin to end up with, Madison ALWAYS and I mean always won every single poll. AND it just shows that it's always the haters (or at least those who ship otherwise) that are just louder and that's why it seems like they're the majority when they are actually not.

Anyway, they can have this silly, unsatisfying ending of theirs. Kevin always looks like he'd rather have a conversation with a wall than with S every time he's with her it's just utterly hilarious.

I still can’t believe the leaked info on google “Kate and Toby break up and Kevin’s business flourishes” and you’re telling me that everything was set to go and Sophie was for sure going to happen at the beginning of Season 6? Lmao yeah right!! I know we will never know what that was all about but it really makes you go hmmmm 🤔🙃 We have seen nothing about his business. Ok so he ends up with Sophie. They don’t have kids together, they don’t show them getting engaged or married. So like what’s the point???? 😂😂😂 All he ever really wanted was a wife and kids and they don’t even give him that?! I mean not in the way he wanted. I’m just...never going to get over it. They did him so dirty and I feel so bad for Justin and Caitlin. They both deserve way better than this shitty ending. And the way Kevin looks so dead in the eyes looking at Sophie. Yet his eyes are still lingering on Madison!? Maybe they should have done another chemistry read before deciding on this ending...it’s insane!! He just looks so done when he’s with her 🥴 They will for sure get divorced a second time lol this relationship is going nowhere

Mind you, anon, this synopsis was released before episode 11's synopsis was even released and knowing that episode titles and synopses are usually written and sent off for release first, it goes to show that THIS was their original plan before they suddenly changed tact when AB's schedule opened up.

Like, this synopsis coincides so well with everything they've ACTUALLY built up over the season.

Rebecca telling the big three that she's losing her memory and her clinging into the little things in life could show a montage of her trying her making the best of the every day, IN THE PRESENT with her children.

Randall going deeper into the search of his origins can be him unpacking the whys and the hows of him getting into politics in the first place.

Kate and Toby breaking up - we all know that.

KEVIN'S BUSINESS FLOURISHES. Now this one takes the cake. It's pretty much Jerry Maguire TO A T, isn't anon? Apart from the fact that we were so close to seeing Kevin actually doing work with Big Three Homes lol

Kevin's business flourishing is the same as when Jerry's own business flourished too at the end of the movie where, you know, he realised that HE WAS INCOMPLETE without his Dorothy, which means we would've seen Kevin realise this too but with Madison.

And all of this would've coincided with Justin's "next level" romance he promised because I'm sure that once Kevin realises that he's in love with Madison all along, he would've gone to great lengths– next level romantic to win her back. S I G H

Oh, these writers. Trying to gaslight us into thinking otherwise...

Also them not doing a chemistry LMFAO when I read that I literally LAUGHED OUT LOUD like NO WONDER they give us nothing whenever they're together. Whatever it is that people see, I'm actually so genuinely curious because I SEE NOTHING. Also this is a testament to Justin and Cait because they actually do give us something and I'm sure they didn't do a chemistry read either.

LOL! Look, I really don't want to harp on any ship because the shippers have their own reasons for shipping them, but this entire episode, including 4x12 was... something.

4x12 bored me to death and I've always thought was the show's weakest ep (I believe many people thought that too), and now this ep is up there with it too and probably have overtaken it now.

Chemistry is subjective indeed, but whatever this was that they tried to put on in this ep and/or the times they're together? Goodness.

I need a fanfic where Kevin realises he is falling in love with Madison but she’s started to see someone else. Kevin is super jealous and he has never been second best before. It makes him realise thats exactly how Madison was feeling. he’s determined to win her over

I wish we could know what Justin Hartley really thinks about what they did to Kevin's storyline. Knowing that he knows Kevin so well, I can't believe he could really be satisfied with his ending...

This boy is starting to snap haha! If you’ve seen some of his latest interviews, it’s quite telling that he’s absolutely DONE and perhaps may have a little bit of bitterness too for what they’ve done to his character. 

Like, it’s just so so sad in one of his recent ones where he’s said how much he loves Kevin and he’d usually take Kevin home with him and be in his mindset, etc. so for him to be given such a crappy ending must’ve hurt like a b.

i still don't know how k*phie are soulmates when he broke her heart twice - he cheated on her when they were married. then he got her to dump her bf to give him one more chance, and after she forgives him he dumps her again. i genuinely don't think they'll work out a 3rd time lol

There’s a myriad of definitions for the term “soulmates” so it’s a lot harder to define it and therefore categorise this or any relationship for that matter without writing a full essay, but I will say this:

The main reason why I never believed in k*phie is because they were never believable in the first place. I’ve said this a billion times in the past already, but the first time I ever watched TIU was Feb 2020, having binged all seasons and catching up to the live broadcast by The Cabin episode, and there was absolutely nothing in these four seasons that ever made me believe that they were compatible for each other in any way whatsoever. Nothing. 

Argue with me if you want, I’d be more than happy to share my points. But there really was nothing. Just boredom from my end and the desire for them to just move it tf along coz I was just so over this constant back and forth.

And I don’t mean anything against Sophie either. She was funny at times but overall I was just indifferent to her. But that goes for every romantic partner Kevin’s had until Madison (but that’s a story for another time).

Kevin and Sophie represented everything wrong about the first love trope. Everything. Their relationship is nothing but fantasy and idealism and a bond forged in the past that has done nothing but hold them back. 

Kevin being done “chasing ghosts” was supposed to be his growth moment. He was never supposed to look back anymore. They’ve already watched the movie and have made peace with each other so they can now move on with their lives because that’s when they’re at their best, ever realise that?

I mean, this no slight whatsoever but the fact that they have to go through psychotherapy which is defined as “a group of therapies designed to help someone change their thinking patterns and improve their coping skills” because they clearly still aren’t able to move beyond their turbulent past together is just so utterly ridiculous it’s just laughable. And you expect us to believe that this is a love story for the ages?
