Happy 2025 folks!

I wanted this years avatar to represent how I've been feeling about my creativity and artistic journey these past 12 months or so.

I have so many ideas that I want to explore and create but can't seem to make any of them materialise.

I've set myself goals to tackle different ascepts of myself that I feel needs work and by this time next year I plan to be thriving both personally and artistically.

ai generated images make me increasingly sad and tired the more i see them in more and more casual contexts. i dont know how to explain, but it just fills the world with a bunch of nothing. no matter how visually stunning the pictures might be, there's nothing behind it for me. no dedication, no emotions, no feelings, no hard work or creativity, nothing i can truly think about, admire or enjoy. i dont think thats how art is supposed to be

2024 started off pretty rough but seems to be chilling out. Even though its a little late I'm proud to finally present my first art for the year. ✨ I tried to capture the energy I want to bring into this year: quiet consistent focus to achieve my goals. ✨ Initially sketched in Procreate then lined and rendered in Clip Studio Paint.

A piece of fan art for one of my fav JJK characters.

If i'm honest, I'm normally pretty lazy with backgrounds etc so I wanted to try and do a bit more. Has lots of fun putting the bakery together but it was still missing something. So I decided to put the reflections from the windows in too. I think it turned out ok and definately helps with making the piece feel colder overall.
