This is a short visual and auditory savouring of my journeys in Krabi, March and April 2025 to Phi Phi Islands and the Railay peninsula in Thailand. I was literally at sea on the day Neptune entered Aries and tat felt totally appropriate, on a 'speed' boat, swimming and snorkelling - living the symbolism of that momentous day.
Thailand, formerly known as Siam, is, appropriately for travellers, a Sagittarius country. It was founded December 10th, 1932. Perhaps this is why they are so good a looking after tourists. Also, King Vajiralonghorn appropriately for a King, a Leo zodiac sign. He was born July 28th, 1952.
I set it to music and a poem by C.P. Cavafy about Odysseus returning home to Ithaca which works very well here to think about all journeys. 00:00 Phi Phi Islands

These photos reflect the mood of visiting the Tiger Cave Temple in Krabi which has a mountainous climb of 1, 260 steps so no for the faint hearted but the reward is incredible views of the Golden Buddha and the surrounding mountains and even of the elephants below. There was a temple like a wedding cake and a temple to Quan Yin the avalokitseshvara, androgynous Buddha of compassion, and a Blood Buddha replete with silver belt, and Shiva statues, Ganesha, old man Buddha and dancing Buddha, and man Nagas (elemental serpent spirits) and Yakshas ( guardian giants) but the slog to get up there has to be done to be able to appreciate this wonder of reverence, not just for Buddha and as a place of meditation but to feel yourself close to nature, to the mountain peaks, the sky and to be part of all that. No shoes allowed at the top and to be quiet but of course that is difficult for noisy influencers who shout into their go pros cams to all and sundry and forget to contemplate the beauty of where they actually are, in a peak moment to be savoured.

The Sleeping Buddha is an appropriate sighting symbolically for the retrograde phase we are about to round up, no to mention the stellium -Venus,Saturn, the North Node and Mercury all in Pisces. According to legend, Buddha lay down and rested and slipped into Parinirvana -an in between state of consciousness, like the bardo realm. Pisces is the 12th house of the unconscious mind. In that state where he was released from the wheel of Samskara- he achieved a great deal by apparently doing nothing but rest, not sitting upright as usual.
The idea of escape from the world is very Gnostic and it is a kind of world-hating POV too but the world is-not such a bad place but that people make it so with their beliefs and ideologies. It is the beliefs that poison what is good. These are the very same beliefs and ideologies that cause neurotic and pathological behaviours like hysteria, compulsions, depression and schizoid alienation- or as Michael Tsarion so aptly calls them 'the 4 riders of the pathocalypse'. There is usually a good bit of anxiety thrown in as well.
Sadly, these behaviours are all too prevalent for all the wrong reasons which revovles around the fact that people refuse to face up to their legitimate suffering.
I find it fascinating however that there’s always a Shiva somewhere along with the Buddha here in Krabi which ironically is almost 100% Muslim; and this one at Wat Sat Thai has 4 faces - two legs and eight arms, so it is showing the dance of creation and destruction and the wheel of time that people so wish to escape from!
During retrogrades we go back and review experiences, and notice that time loops like a needle thread. We may hear the stuck records of memory, and see those same events in fresh ways, hopefully all before moving forward having done the retro-homework.
It is very much a ‘Dance to the Music of Time’ in Anthony Powell’s acute phrase from his super long novel. A still point in timel and passing time fused together somehow if T.S. Elliot were to express it.
Mercury is already direct and Venus sextiles Uranus today giving us a blast of social brilliance, and then follows suit with Mercury on Saturday the 12th April, so whatever understandings and learnings we have had over the past weeks should become clearer by mid- April.
If it does not, then perhaps another dance with time is needed when the next one comes around?

Neptune enters Aries
Then we get the finale of the symphony of all the March madness and build up of energies needs a final release point. It does not stop in April but we are just dealing with March here.
This long-awaited ingress occurs just after the eclipse so aligns with it. Also it is just two days before April 1st known as 'Fools' day. The Trickster energy is high and it is worth taking extra care with your belongings. The Fool in the Tarot steps off the cliff without looking. But it is better to look where your feet fall and not be blinded by idealism, not be deceived, yet still manage to smell the roses on the way. This ingress is momentous and comes with high expectations but what shifts may be subtle and just inside you- a change of perception or a more militant more authentic feeling of who you are- and not be noticed for a while.
Neptune has not been in Aries since 1861-1875- the time of the Civil War in the USA. And though Neptune dips back into Pisces later this year, once it reenters Aries on February 20th 2026, and only then becomes exact, it will stay under the rulership of Mars until 2039!
Check where this 0°-1 of Aries is in your personal as it will not only oppose any planets you have in Libra, but also square those in Aries and Capricorn. This is the point of the fresh or 'beginners' mind. New starts are not only possible but feasible and viable.
Neptune or Poseidon combining with Aries ruled by Mars (or Ares the Greek god) can bring combative energy. If they were ever faced in physical combat it would be a grand old clash of very different styles of power- what rules the sea does not always rule in a personal fight. But there's talk of he rise of the spiritual warrior archetype- the one who fights for honour not just for the habitual defensive patterns. Did not Bruce Lee say that the warrior fighter should 'be like water' and be observant and intuitive? We should bend where needed and be ready to 'flow' so as not to expend too much energy yet still have power.
Hopefully, we’ll not see much more ‘splitting’ of opinions and obsession with fixed ideas worldwide but that rift that splitting creates may be necessary to see where people are divided by beliefs and lack faith in anything of genuine value in order to correct it. It does seem that interests have become overly materialistic (and yes 'profane' is the right word) and people find themselves disconnected from Spirit and Nature. This time could bring the final dissolution of the old institutions governments and religions and any points of view that create victimisation and a false sense of division. I’m all for a return to the sacred if that's what Neptune in Aries brings. It creates a sense of honour of fighting only for what is right but knowing when to hold back which can mean an increase in personal sovereignty.
Another element in the mix here – if you follow the nothing is coincidental theory-is the muse energy. Not only is this point - zero of Aries sextile to Sedna at 01° of Gemini reminding us of the power of the sea, but the Neptune/Saturn that becomes exact in February of 2026 is conjunct asteroid Urania. This stands out to me as significant yet not many astrologers have mentioned that Urania is part of the picture here too.
Urania is the very last of the muses. She presides over astrology and astronomy, and is represented holding a compass that measures the globe. Astrology can reconnect people to their sacred roots. People who study and use it can feel their personal lives actually have meaning along with planetary cycles of universe. So for Urania to be with Neptune and Saturn points to a deeper understanding of astrology, not superficial but with more gravitas. It could see astrology in a greater ascendancy as well as scientific measurements which could be even more revealing and/or paradigm shifting about the real nature of the relationship of the Earth to the galaxies. Even the lovers Eros and Psyche come close together in Gemini at that time too.
Mercury goes direct on the 7th April and Venus goes direct on the 12th April so things will proceed more smoothly. Mishaps and losing things may be resolved as items are retrieved somehow and we'll be glad we backtracked during the retrograde period. Mars also will feel much better in Leo from the 19th April.
We'll have to wait and see with either a telescope or a horoscope to hand to divine the message that is contained in all these celestial events as they have lined up to speak urgently about what we need to change, and what we need to do next.

Some say there is no connection between eclipses and earthquakes but is it coincidental that an earthquake happened yesterday on the eclipse?
I happen to be in Thailand at the moment and nearby Myanmar experienced a 7.4 magnitude earthquake that managed to shake buildings as far away as Bangkok.
The infinity pools on the tops of big hotels became wave machines.
According to Temblor.com the stress of high and low tides caused by new and full moons can trigger earthquakes. Many people have been concerned about their personal safety yet in the south I attended a 'Black Moon' party with fire-eating performers and everything appeared fine on the surface.

Several major celestial events have occurred during March in a sequence every two or three days so it has the effect of a stellium where everything feels more intense. All these events planets and aspects align together and go back and forth over the same degree points 8-10° of Aries and 29-01° of Aries. Some of these markers in March I have reported on in previous posts, but if the 'armonia celestis' is like a symphony then each movement has been shifting the mood and preparing us for the grand crescendo to a dramatic finale when Neptune motif recurs. The Lord of the Oceans leaves Pisces ending a fourteen-year stay there, and moves into Aries on March 30th. That's the big one as it is a long cycle and potentially a paradigm shift. We could be feeling it is time to change, move, leave jobs or adopt a totally different world view and all that could be easier now than ever before.
But let's take stock of all the developments so far as so this pile up of events can block our vision and the big picture may not be clear yet. It's important to see the bigger picture and be like Jupiter overseeing all. Here is a list to review. It would have been good to do all your rest and reflection in early March before the Vernal Equinox as chances are you may not have time now and during April.
So here we are at the end of March and three significant celestial events happen in a row at this time and this is not coincidental. The second eclipse in March closes the eclipse window (14th-28th) for the spring period, but still could have a reverberation effect for months to come. It follows fast on the Venus conjunct Neptune at 29° of Pisces March 27th pointing once again to the ending before the grand beginning. Venus is now back in Pisces so feeling stronger and more socially adept and flexible. Conjunct Neptune she still could be prone to deceptions as while this could be lucky, people have a habit of avoiding the truth and we still need tha rock solid shit detector to see who is still 'in denial' or not.
The partial solar eclipse can be called a ‘Black Moon’ as the Moon aligns with the Earth in front of the Sun and becomes invisible. This is traditionally time to formulate strong intentions. We may feel it hit especially if we have any planets at around 8° of Aries, where it would be conjunct, Libra, which it opposes, and Cancer or Capricorn which it squares. But this is the last eclipse in that series in Aries-Libra for now. The remaining eclipses of 2025 fall on the Virgo-Pisces axis.

The Sun conjuncts Venus, March 22nd.
The Sun conjoins with Venus at 2°of Aries where Venus is wrong-footed as Aries is ruled by Mars and her light can be subsumed by that of the Sun. She tends to cut an edge and act in a less than genteel manner perhaps even furtively now. She may lose her sheen of benevolence and harmony temporarily. Her position is between the Earth and the Sun.
This is an impulsive and youthful Venus which shines a light on the me-first-get-out-of-the-way style while in Aries. She moves fast in the social sphere allowing people to have a bit more fun. She still may consider her impact on others but there’s no guarantee of softness or lack of meddling until she gets to Pisces where she is exalted.
Venus is also empowered here by a sextile to Pluto at 2° in Aquarius. Pluto gives turbo power to Venusian qualities. Whatever happens will not be boring and deepens the transformation and research into who to love and who to leave. But by heading backwards into Pisces, she is deeply considering her true purpose and value and reviewing all love connections, good and bad so with an element of thoughtfulness. Venus will not appear again as the morning star in the eastern sky until the end of March.

The Sun enters 0° Aries, 20th March, 9.02am
This is the all-important zero degree of Aries, the onset of Spring and the start of the wheel of the zodiac celebrated by astrologers as the real ‘astrological’ new year. It’s known as the Vernal Equinox, when there is equal day and equal night. It is where the celestial equator intersects with the ecliptic (path of the sun).
This day marks the onset of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and Autumn in the Southern and is used as to determine the date of Easter which varies year by year. Easter is the Sunday after the first full moon after this point, and so not until April 20th.
Predictions about the coming year can be made from this 0° ingress chart, hence it is so powerful as an indicator of not just the next 3 months, but what’s to come in the entire year, and all events that may echo throughout 2025. It is ruled by a still debilitated Mars which is in home-loving Cancer. Issues of security may come to the fore.
2: However, Sap rises in Spring; Nature reboots with a welcome colourful and light-filled flourish. Energy rises too, and you may begin to feel ‘joy’ again after winter. Life can begin to feel freer but it can be less easy to controlled too, increasing stress and nervousness.
So, there is still a need to have our wits about us to counter any impulses that lead to dead-ends. Go forward with vigour, just slowly and more mindfully might be the advice. Quick thinking is desirable but not always effective in every situation. In the eclipse window events are still very volatile.
The Sun is still only a degree from the previous day’s conjunction with Neptune at that anaretic degree. So, it is highly spiritualized and radiating subtle influences. And it’s at the centre of this build up of planets at the end of Pisces and beginning of Aries so if you check your chart that is where all this activity will show up But the Sun is making its annual fresh start now. The Sun is trine to the Moon in Sagittarius, a fellow fire sign, which offers even more inspiration to act without hesitation and perhaps have more fun, if that is available. 3:Mars and Saturn are trine which softens those two planets in aspect when they can usually be harsh and full of friction or even abuse. And Venus and her scribe Mercury are dutifully taking note of everything as they journey through all this.
Jupiter in Gemini is conjunct the Ascendant so that could suggest a broad spread of optimistic news around the world especially at the time of the full moon in Sagittarius on June 11th ruled by Jupiter.
And the Sun is sextile to Pluto in early Aquarius lending depth and intensity to any changes that take place. The Vernal Equinox this year is complex yet powerful and full of promise of the new all with a veneer of Nature’s magic in it for good measure. To consciously tap into this surge of energy can take you a long way towards your goals.

Sun conjunct Neptune, March 19th.
1: The Sun conjuncts Neptune possibly at its most mind-bending potential at 29° of Pisces at the end of its reign there. Just think about that for a quantum second. Neptune ruled by Neptune is in Neptune’s sign at the very end of its 14- year journey through Pisces. It has not been here for 165 years. Plus, it is at the anaretic ‘endpoint’ degree, so that also ramps up its cumulative power. The lessons must be learned.
The Sun here is telling us this is a wormhole through which the universe swivels into another paradigm. It is significant as Neptune through Pisces has been, as often repeated as it was so important, a monumental mind-melt, warping the fabric of reality- causing ripples in the Sine Wave. We can now more easily see how personal and collective beliefs really do construct the universe as people live in their very different information bubbles and bang against each other not knowing why. The Sun beams a light on Neptune which is just as well as it would be foggy and opaque otherwise and we would could be deceived as to what is behind all the smoke, mirrors, propaganda and media ‘spin’.
The shimmer of light from the Sun could create a mirage of further illusions which evaporate under its spotlight, or it could magnify and heat up the miraculous, mystical and romantic side of Neptune. It could flood us with artistic insights that are usually crunched into a more left-brain format and become prosaic. So, the brush with the numinous spirit can be lost. Take time to allow the mystical side of this archetype to fill you with light.
What punctuates this Sun/Neptune conjunction is that the North Node is still only 2° away making it karmic. (The Sun also conjuncted the North Node two days prior on March 17th). It also trines the Moon at 29° of Scorpio and sextiles Uranus at 24° of Taurus- that forms one angle of what is actually a Mystic Rectangle between the Sun/Neptune and the South Node (opposed) and Uranus and the Moon (opposed) with two sextiles joining the rectangle together. That’s some awesome insight locking in, but at the same time and can make the real seem dreamlike and the dream more real.

Mercury Stations Retrograde, March 15th.
Mercury Retrograde is the most popular well-known fact about astrology beyond sun signs that non-astrologers think they know. But very often they don’t really get it. This may be appropriate as a planet of communications reversing direction, it’s a case of ‘think you know?... Then think again.’
Mercury is mega busy: He moves from 9° of Aries to 26° of Pisces across the 0°-degree point on the back of the Lunar Eclipse. And he visits major planets and points on the way back travelling with Venus, meeting the Sun, the North Node and Neptune and making a sextile to Pluto. That he is following in the tracks of Venus is a big deal and brings a sweetness to the wording of your conversations. More careful wording is needed as this retro might have more noticeably personal impact on people than usual. But it could also have poetic and romantic outcomes, more love letters than ever.
You may just not have all the facts to hand and it’s time to do an audit, not just of the details, but what life events actually are in their essence. Words only describe experience; they are NOT the stuff of life experience itself. So, there could be a cognitive dissonance or an inversion between of words and the feelings to which they symbolically refer. Don’t be deceived that the map is the territory. It is not. Also, while changing gears and directions, a planet intensifies its impact. This drills home that it’s time for a major rethink of your life plans which are best realised later in April and May.
Mercury is a living contradiction: so while he appears to slow down, he is still the wing-footed messenger boy, so communications move faster; one step back to take two steps forward. It’s a dance routine. Take more time to read all the extra letters, texts, emails and statements that need querying or further research. Ask for clarification before acting or purchasing and edit, edit, edit. He moves forward on April 8th just in time for Easter.

Total Lunar Eclipse: March 14th.
This occurs at 23° of Virgo at 6.59am.The eclipse path is over North and South America. The Moon does not have any light of its own, it comes from the Sun and a lunar eclipse is where the earth blocks that light from the Sun that reflects on the Moon. Eclipses are where the new and full moons align to the Nodes. This is a full moon eclipse, so the Sun and Moon are opposed. The North and South Nodes are now pivoting from Pisces to Virgo. Pisces rules the spiritual and ethereal domain of illusions and deceptions and Virgo the daily routines physically rooted in the earth and the body. But Neptune is also emphasised as it is at the endpoint degree, about to move into Aries so this indicates major endings and beginnings. It is a portal. We may not notice any dramatic effects of this eclipse on this day itself but across a six-month period. It may have already happened or is yet to happen. Look out for people and events coming in and going out of your life. Or observe any psychosomatic issues regulating and integrating body (Virgo) and soul (Pisces) coming to the surface to be dealt with.
Eclipses happen in pairs and the Equinox of equal day and night this year lands exactly between the lunar and solar eclipse. This time between the 14th and 29th of March is the eclipse window and incredibly charged with energy to make radical changes, self healing and brand-new steps ahead.

The Sun conjuncts Saturn, March 12th.
The Sun meeting Saturn happens annually. This time it is at 22° of Pisces. Saturn brings a sharper contrast to Piscean slipperiness. It brings shade so we might feel weighted down by responsibilities, or melancholy. But Saturn helps to make concrete the ideal and the ethereal realms so it can also be constructive.
But there’s work to do to achieve that. Shine a light on what the world actually is, warts and all, and not what the news media tells you it is. Avoid being sucked into that whirlpool of noise from the collective mindset. But still do a reality check.

Chögyam Trungpa Born March 5th in 1939
(from an article written in 2021)
The Crazy Wisdom Rinpoche
Some teachers of Buddhism are destined to stand out from the rest but get labelled ‘crazy’ so their achievements can unfortunately be easily dismissed. Also born a Pisces, on March 5th 1939 was Chögyam Trungpa, a Tibetan Buddhist monk who studied English at Oxford and gained status as a spiritual meditation teacher and master for all those in the counter culture of the late sixties and early seventies. He was lauded even by poet Allen Ginsberg who had the Moon and Ascendant in Pisces and who was his friend.
Trungpa had Sun conjunct Jupiter in Pisces so did everything on a grand scale, by way of largesse, all the while beaming from a moon-like face. He made many gnomic pronouncements like the one about the sky being like a blue pancake falling on your head. He talked of being aware of the space in between objects as sometimes more important than the objects themselves. He used a little metal mirror to prophesy the future. He saw in that mirror that he would go to the USA and become immersed in western culture, even to become more hippie than the hippies. And he accomplished all that seemingly with ease.
Yet he was sharp as a razor, super articulate and challenging as the 'so-called' crazy-wisdom guru. People approaching him could be terrified as he would peel away the layers of people's false self. He said as soon as you name or claim enlightenment then you have already lost it to egomania. Also, he said that to follow your own intelligence was the way, to not rely on anyone or anything external including him. And to allow a bit of craziness into your life.
The craziness in his chart is Uranus marking his Ascendant on his South Node, so eccentricity came naturally as well as being matter of fact about unconventional married life- even his wife called him ‘unfathomable’ after many years of knowing him. Trungpa loved misfits, the marginalized, artists and creatives of all types. He loved jokes and could make people laugh to ‘shock’ people into awareness of their neurotic tendencies. For a guru he was the iconoclast.
Crazy wisdom as a concept comes from the words yeshe and chölwa ཡེ་ཤེས་འཆོལ་བ, which equates to ‘wisdom gone wild’. But what he meant by it was to be ‘fresh, sparkling and completely awake’ and to allow situations themselves to be the guru that guides you. If he was alcoholic then gulps of whisky didn’t affect his ability to teach and that in itself defied labels. He expressed even more of this Piscean nature: he loved Handel’s Water Music and taught dharma art which was to not actively create but to ‘receive’ images and treat every single step in the processes of life as sacred. He was an accomplished poet, calligrapher, photographer and a flower arranger, Japanese style. He said neuroses are like manure enriching the soil of the self; and he spoke of tenderness and compassion as strengths not weaknesses. He was often late but died way too soon aged 47, so his time was brief.
“The realm of cults is fuzziness" according to cult analyst Hassan-but astrologers already knew this, which is like hearing Neptune speak; the boundaries become unclear; where one thing ends and the other begins. Wherever the hierarchy of guru and worshipful students exists there is potential for abuse. But it is also true that if you happen to be a guru you are held to a higher standard. What everyone else does without thinking, the guru will be maligned for it- like smoke, drink and have sex. Gurus are not allowed to be human- seems also you can be condemned for not wearing the official Tibetan robes as if the costume itself carried the wisdom. Trungpa wore a suit instead to deconstruct that impression. For a guru to drink, smoke and have sex becomes a stain on their assumed perfection- even if they renounced their monk’s vows as Trungpa did.
He never hid anything according to his friends, except perhaps the cocaine use. While revered as a Tulku (living incarnation) in Tibet, Chögyam Trungpa used the conventions of Western social life to make his point. He was said to drink whisky and even gave lectures drunk. Perhaps the words flowed better? The ultimate spiritual wateriness is the norm for a Pisces as they have few boundaries- that might include the boundary between teacher and student. Did anybody notice Dionysus, god of the grape, talking through him and how many times have we done this in the pub? The archetype of Dionysus is linked to Pisces.
But if you claim a lineage from Tibet, a strand of Buddhist practice then the chain of Bodhisattvas has its reputation tarnished. Not much can be fully confirmed but his close friends said he had a cocaine habit.
Joni Mitchell even wrote a song about her meeting with Chögyam Trungpa:
"I pulled off into a forest, crickets clicking in the ferns
Like a wheel of fortune I heard my fate turn, turn turn
And I went running down a white sand road
I was running like a white-assed deer
Running to lose the blues
To the innocence in here
These are the clouds of Michelangelo
Muscular with gods and sungold
Shine on your witness in the refuge of the roads”
Joni Mitchell
It is interesting that Michaelangelo gets in there as he was also a Pisces born on March 6th. Mitchell claims that she kicked her own cocaine addiction because of Trungpa Rinpoche.
If you include the North Node Trungpa’s chart actually has a ‘Mystic’ Rectangle. Some might say this is not so important as the North Node is not a planet, or at the very least they would take out the word ‘mystic’ but it’s a tight rectangle configuration said to confer harmony among the planetary energies involved. But I’d say in the chart of a reincarnated ‘Tulku’ a rectangle is just that- mystical -especially in a Pisces native. It would heighten the spiritual impact of receiving downloads from the universe and hinting at a continuous 'chain' of being.
A mystic rectangle appears in the chart of Krishnamurti on the day of his enlightenment under a Pepper tree. There's something about transcendence here. The rectangle links four points in the chart two sextiles and two trines, creating two crossed oppositions. So here we have Jupiter is sextile to Uranus and the Moon is sextile the North Node. Uranus is trine the Moon and the North node is trine to Jupiter/the Sun. This blesses the chart with a radiance and originality of being and feeling. Most who came into contact with him declared they felt this energy immediately-some spiritual aura -where love and compassion were present and directly felt by those around. This happened especially as a young man where his qualities were recognized by his elders. He always had time for people and would give advice freely to much older people.
What this rectangle might hint at is an exceptional inner harmony to render the challenges of the oppositions at least manageable by some inner gifts tied to these energies. The only issue with the rectangle formation is that it tends to lock the energies into that particular circuit. It ties together the Water and Earth elements. But to have the Sun, Jupiter, Uranus and the Moon working together would be a boost to his charisma, popularity, fresh approaches and perhaps a tendency to excess that might need to be reigned in and he would have been aware of that as he experimented a lot and said that "Knowledge must be burned, hammered and beaten like pure gold. Then one can wear it as an ornament."
Trungpa died of cirrhosis of the liver on April 4th 1987. He was in Halifax, Nova Scotia, not caring much about his physical health. On the day of his cremation on May 27th, in Vermont, followers noted happily that strange lights appeared in the sky like fragments of a broken rainbow. There was a halo in the sky. The sun, the moon were conjunct Vesta- the sacred flame, along with Chariklo. Chiron was just ten degrees away, all in Gemini. There was actually a rectangle formation as well with Venus sextile Mars, and Neptune sextile Pluto. Mars was opposed to Neptune and Venus was opposed Pluto. Tibetan lamas are known to choose dates according to astrology so this was not coincidence though I'm aware this makes it sound like hagiography, not astrological observation. But synchronicities like this do occur.
Rainbows and milk had apparently also appeared at his birth and the impression he left was one of a miraculous presence mingled with a prowling hungry tiger, which even if it was too much to handle, could not be erased from the memory. While Pasolini and Trungpa are very different creatures, in worlds alien to each other, they both identified ‘materialism’ as the core problem just in different ways.
