I’ve made the official decision to go to treatment, but I’ve been too scared to make the call to the facility yet. But I’m hoping I’ll be able to call tomorrow. But more prayers would be greatly appreciated for things like: courage, peace, health, etc. to any deity. Thank you, thank you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I went back by earlier today and this time there were crows ceasing on the carcass! It looked so cool, like honestly.

I didn’t get a picture of it cause I was driving! But yesterday I saw some vultures feasting on a deer and it reminded me so much of Ares, I loved it.

Anyways Phobos and Deimos, I dedicate the bat getting into my room and me being scared shitless and having an hour long panic attack before anyone was able to help me to you guys.

When they call me a cripple on the street and laugh at me limping along, I ask Lord Hephaestus to limp alongside me.

I think of His epithets, Amphigyḗeis, "the lame one"; literally "lame on both sides" and Kyllopodíōn, "club-footed" or "of dragging feet". How His disability is revered as divine.

And I feel less alone.

My mom and sibling are sick (thank the gods I’m not…yet) but we really could use some prayers for healing right now.

Update (because it’s been a minute):

So….I’m coming back to Hellenic polytheism because test driving Christianity didn’t work out at all and instead sent my mental health spiraling in a way it hasn’t in YEARS. Granted it was already not great beforehand but common denominators or whatever, probably didn’t help that I already have some past religious trauma from Christianity.

I knew it was a risk, and I knew there was a chance it wouldn’t work or be the right fit but I’m glad I had the courage to try it. I just wish it didn’t send me into this free fall with my mental health but it is what it is and its been so long since it’s been like this so I guess I’m due or whatever.

I will probably be posting about getting reconnected with the gods and other similar things, but…yeah! That’s the update. And for the record, don’t worry about me, my mom is already fretting over me (affectionately ofc) and I’m working on getting insurance again so I can get meds and start seeing a therapist again. And potentially going inpatient if need be. So it’ll work out in due time.
