Hi! I love Titan's Blessing, thank you for writing it! Can I ask how you write the runes? Because I wanted to use them in a project but the only font I can find is this one (Owl House Sans Serif RegularVersion 001.231True Type Font linked on OwlHouseFandomWiki) and as far as I can tell it's missing at least 2 characters (ng and zh). It's genuinely awesome that it exists. I can work around those letters. But I still wanted to ask if you could guide me to a full set? Thank you in advance
Hey there! Thanks for reading TB! The most updated and crisp version of the font I use is this one! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zJXhXgFa0hWfOIzKTEKpAPYVzawKqAit/view
Play around with it because some runes you can only get when holding shift and a certain character. It’s been a minute since I’ve type anything in runic so I’ve forgotten the specific ones!

Hi! I’m a new follower. I saw your atlas of the Boiling Isles on AO3, and I love the lore and detail you included!
I was curious whether you've considered creating an atlas for the Demon Realm as well, similar to how we have maps for the North and South Poles. It would be a big help for my supplementary lore fic, I will credit you tho. Basically, the Northern Isles would be the Boiling Isles but more Gothic, mystical, tundra environment, windy, and Wiccan-based...
I imagine the Isles could be located to the south, as some areas are warm. It makes me wonder if the North Pole or Northern Hemisphere could feature "freezing oceans" as a contrasting environment. I'm currently writing an alternate universe story, based on a big question: "What if the children of Evelyn and Caleb had found out about abt Belos' true identity sooner and the daughter left with a sizable portion of the Isles' population to the North Pole with other family members while the son and Evelyn stay behind, thereby splitting the family in two, Eda would descend from the son's lineage btw."
Anyway, I hope this doesn't sound too rambly...
Welcome and thank you for the follow!
To answer your question, yes! I have plans for other Atlas', specifically for Hel, Papa T's sibling in TB. There are other Titan corpses scattered around the globe, Hel being the closest one to our Titan. However, due to the Empire, Trade is scarce and contact is at a minimum. So currently we're keeping the focus to our main Titan for now!
But I've mentioned before that just how Papa T's blood created a portal from North America, the other Titans blood may have connections to other Earth continents, influencing their cultures and developments. Some may have better connections with their mirrored reality while others may not! In due time!

Marz, how would the word "Titan" in Old tongue be? (it's not on the dictionary eep)
That is on purpose *wink*. The word "Titan" in Old Tongue would technically be Papa T's Given Name. And we are waysssss off for any more TB!Titan lore!
There's also some cultural nuance for it too. Each region of the Boiling Isles have their own descriptor for the Titan. In the warm caves of the Pelvis, he is referred to as: taǔlwüm zhawmɔïdh-The First Crafter/Smith.
And if we go down aways to the Archipelagos, He is known there as: nuh chok'anzof-The Strongest Anchor. Mainly referring to their homeland when out to sea. At least, when they used to be able to sail beyond the shores of The Titan.
However there is a general derivative mentioned in one of the Atlas blurbs. T'khan can be used as an indirect reference to Titan. T'khan means Land in Old Tongue. As Common was introduced and translation lost to time, T'khan (Correct Pronunciation)-> Tikhan (improper pronunciation due to loss of glottal stop and warping of vowels from English being weird)->Titan (Common).

If a sigil is removed, do the effects heal or is the damage already done, depending on how long the sigil was applied?
We’re not at that point in the story yet, but based on what we have now in this au, sigil removal would be very difficult and a meticulous process. Especially so with those who’ve had one for a majority of their life!

Since you've been expanding on lore have u headcannond the magic that allows same sex and interspecies couples to have kids?
I answered this on my twitter! But yes!
Obviously the most basic barebones way is to have a surrogate, but the more in depth way would be with magic of course!
For example, with two parents who neither can carry there is a process where they approach a Druid and a Smith. The Druid and Smith are able to craft an artificial womb with their magicks. With this, the soon to be parents can pour their magic and essence into said empty womb and the child will gestate and grow inside just as any other would with care and the variable flow of the parents magic to help develop the child.
The artificial womb is encased with materials that help keep it safe and protected. If the parents were inclined more towards the Smith's skills (which is usually the norm), the womb is encased with Sunsteel. If they wished for more of the Druid's hand in the mix for more spiritual reasons, then Ironbark would be the encasement. Regions may also take a roll in the types of case the womb is held in. Witches and Demons in the Archipelagos of the Left Thigh find shells that've survived the Boiling Sea to encase their future children within them.
When the child is ready to be born, the parents call for a Birthsinger. Birthsingers are essentially healers who've mastered the art of mending through their voice, harmonizing with heartbeats and detecting an illness through dissonance in a Witch or Demonkin own tune emitted by their magic. Remember, forming a spell circle emits noise and it is said a Birthsinger can detect the slightest change in a Witches health by a simple flick of their ear. Here however, as their name suggests, they are a vital part to play in the emergence of new life.
But lest we forget in this AU Belos ruins everything, and since Birthsingers are basically a mix of Healing and Bard magic, they are outlawed, so Healers took over this roll. Not only this, but because the craftsmanship of Smiths diminished and Druids being nearly non existent, their vital role and art of creating the wombs and casings is said to be lost. With restrictions, Witches have found a way to reuse artificial wombs already made, but it does not come without issue.
For one, now it is expensive to request an artificial womb, as fragile and rare as they are now, carrying a child to term within one has also become exceedingly difficult. This in turn over the years since the Empire came to fruitions has cause a decline in birthrates (although they don't want you to know that) which, if you were paying attention in TB, Bump mentions this in his argument with Eda when she was enrolling Luz into Hexside.
"Titan Forget you Blinding Shield! ” Eda curses. “It’s been THIRTY years since I’ve left here and you are still participating in this-!” “ENOUGH!” Bump yells. His magic pulses and for a brief moment Luz can feel the office shake at such a display of power.  Eda goes silent, tight-lipped. Bump’s own breaths come out ragged as his eyes are squeezed shut.  “You don’t think I know what happens to my own students? I have outlived at least a third of all the recent graduating classes. There are only ten children in this year's kinder class, Edalyn! Ten! You don’t think I see what is happening?! You forget yourself, child !” Bump’s voice rises in crescendo, but Eda stands tall, chin raised as she is attacked with harsh words from the man.
So to wrap it all up short and sweet, yes! Same sex and Interspecies couples can have kids in this AU, quite easily when The Old Ways were alive and rampant. They still can modern day but its much more difficult and surrogacy has taken over more often than not.

Hi Mars! I saw your atlas of the Boiling Isles on AO3, and I love how much lore and detail you put into it! I'm planning out a Pokemon/Owl House crossover fan game at the moment, and I was wondering if you'd be alright with me referencing that atlas for the map of the game? I'll be sure to credit you!
Hey there and thank you!
For you and others who've asked similar question regarding the Atlas of the Boiling Isles, yes! Feel free to reference and use the map for your own stories or other creative works! I'd love to see how you all use it as well!

Hey, are you still maintaining TB?
The beautiful embeds on chapter 5 and 7 (Forgiveness not Permission and Rune Key) seem to have gone bad
None of my friends can see them, and when I try to load the images, I get “content is no longer available”
The runic writing has always been one of my favorite parts of the fic, it’s how I learned it, and I now write in it regularly!
I love the rune key especially so much! It’s so pretty, and has so much personality
I hope you can fix the issue so future readers can enjoy it too!
I downloaded tumblr just to ask this; sorry if my etiquette isn’t great
Thank you for writing such an amazing piece of fanfiction!
Hey there!! It’s come to my attention that discord attachments now have an expiration date for attachments. It’s what I’ve been using to upload and archive all of the codex entries and embedded art onto AO3!
This weekend I plan to upload all codexes and art to a different file site and repupload them on the fic so these pivotal and important pieces won’t expire and stay available for the long term!
Thank you for the heads up!!

Also also another Question.
Rehan is from the Pelvis and it is noticeably hotter there thus all the adaptations to heat and tropics. Does that mean that the pelvis is near the Boiling Isle’s equator or is it ever more tropic around the toes? Or counter to that is the Pelvis just naturally volcanic? Which has some amusing take aways if that is the case haha
If our own meteorologists looked at the Titan's climate map in relation to ours, their heads would explode. To keep it simple, magic! But we're not simple around here!
The toes would be where the "equator" is! While the Pelvis and left leg would lie on what we considered fault lines, but in reality its the craterous impact Papa T made on the crust of the planet between from where he fell and the other ongoing battles. The Pelvis is essential equal to our Earth's Ring of Fire, which of course can lead to the residents who live there to be accosted by numerous erupting jokes. They take it in stride though!

Good afternoon, I greatly enjoyed your maps of the Boiling Isles. I have two questions, do you have a master post that links all the maps you made?
Secondly, I was looking for the island featured in season 2 episode 1, however, I was unable, to find it. Would you know where that island was located? Tis the one where Luz joins a sailing crew to hunt a local creature. Thank you and have a good day.
Heyo Nuclearmex! Sorry for the late reply, you can find all the maps in one on my Ao3, I'll link it here:
As for islands and far off titans featured in Season 2, I have my own theories and placements of where its positioned! Its not far off as it seems to be only a half a day away from The Boiling Isles. It's probably off the coast of the Pelvis or since we've seen a cannon shot of Papa T's skeleton, on one of the vertebras of his tail!

Howdy Marz! Been a hot minute has it not haha
Question for you.
Do you plan on any fun activities or side plots between Vee and Cabin 7? Because I will admit to some slight curiosity about what happened between them and then the start of school. Plus interactions between Vee and Camilla are always good. The slight horror aspect one could go with the two could be very intriguing. I mean. We know that Vee doesn’t intend on harm but Camilla doesn’t at first! Idk amusing thoughts. Hope you are doing well! And as always I am ever so eager to read the next chapter!
Heyo Dragon! Long time no see! I've been a bit busy dealing with zine fixings and getting ready to go back to school here soon! So im trying my best to wrap up part 1 to post in all its glory before I start!
Vee and the Cabin 7 kids won't make an appearance anytime soon but I do have plans for them! Vee is just as an important character as our other members of the Hexsquad! And I agree on Camila's and Vee's interactions! TB!Camila isn't going to be that oblivious as she was in the show. She knows something is off with her baby but won't pry too much. That is until she can't help but notice some strange qualities and ticks her daughter has gained since the trip....
TB!Vee will defiantly have a more active role as well, they might be our key to get to the bottom of our missing(?)/rampaging Basilisks.
The train is moving! Slowly! But we're getting there!!!

Meet: Rehan
Tumblr media
Without further ado lets meet our resident Spirit from TB! Rehan!
Rehan was born and raised on the Pelvis of The Titan before he moved to The Right Humerus. It is a region of mystery and intrigue, for many do not know or have forgotten what goes on below the mountains in the modern day.
Tumblr media
But here's what we do know! Witches who reside within the depths of The Pelvis have a slightly different physiology as seen by Rehan! The most defining feature of a Pelvis Witch is their black sclera, evolving their eyesight to easily see in dim lighting and protecting them from the heat of churning magma. Their hearing is also more pronounced than your average Witch, keen on picking up the slightest reverberation that bounces across crafted stone.
Rehan's attire is standard for a Pelvis Witch. They adorn their bodies and clothing with metal, piercings, and jewelry of all sorts, from gold to silver and bronze to iron. It is to show off craftsmanship but can also be an indicator of who is near when no light is present. The sounds of metal clinking together being a warning or a comforting white noise.
Tumblr media
If sound is not a viable option, or a Witch has considerably less metal adornments, face and body paint made from the native bioluminescent plants are applied. A special glowing silk is also weaved within their dark clothing. Different patterns of facial markings apply to the different clans a Witch or Demon hails from within the caves, but there are also markings that can show someone's state of being. Such as mourning, achievement, or vengeance.
Rehan is a kind and exuberant soul. He dreamed of becoming a Smith specialized in jewelry when he was older. Unfortunately that did not come to fruition.
As his spirit was bound, his cultural adornments became a prison. Chaining him to the the earthly plane, confused and scared. The warmth he knew is non-existent, replaced by the bitter cold of despair as the years moved on...

The warnings her mother screamed at her when she was younger are telling her to do the exact opposite. Under no circumstances should you let a spirit free! But Willow was serious, and this is what they came for. So she cancels her spell and watches as black mist seeps out of the cracks and the form of a spirit takes shape.
It stops emerging at its waist, like it's stuck, but its form solidifies. If not already strange enough, the spirit wasn’t wrapped in bindings like she’s used to. At least, it’s face isn’t. Amity can tell it used to have dark hair braided into a long ponytail. One of its ears was cropped in half, the left having no point in sight.
The spirit looks young, around the twin’s age. Spectral as it was, the uncovered face showed an array of emotions, fear, shock, confusion, until Willow uttered its name.
“Rehan?”
The spirit blinks and looks down at Willow, who’s holding the crystal ball with care. It opens its mouth then shuts it quickly. Wrapped hands reach up to its lips in shock, it gathers its composure and furrows its brow.
“Y-you said my name.” Rehan states.
–Titan’s Blessing Chapter 27: Understanding Amity
@urbanbirdbud Has once again outdone themselves I’ve been clawing at the bars of my enclosure for 16 hours seeing their completed art of Rehan (and Saix) in their living form and spirit forms!
You won’t see Saix just yet! But since we already have introduced Rehan in TB here he is in all his spirit glory!

See, whenever I look at those Belos redemption fics, they always make Luz into this mean, angry, unreasonable person when it comes to her not forgiving Belos, and they make the Hexsquad + others chastise her for not liking him and it honestly pisses me off
because Luz is honestly a very forgiving person (See: Lilith and Hunter who tried to off her at one point), and making her into this angry person who is so mean to poor phillip is just so ooc and racist as hell
Yuuuuup. That mischaracterization they thrust onto Luz is the red flag and all I need to know about your redeemed AU. I wash my hands of you and know where your mindset is.

I would like for you to point to me the instance I said where I’m labeling all Wittebro fans are bigoted. Point to it please.
Once again you completely ignore the root of this conversation. And what Anon and KG stated.
KG Said: “Nobody said you can’t like them. Anon is specifically talking about people who favor white colonizers while villanizing POC cast/victims to make the wittebros (mainly Belos) to seem more deep.”
And again more often than not implicit and unchecked bias pop out when talking about this. Enough to see a pattern and enough to be fed up with it. Like I said, we side-eye and stay away from these folks. But we’ve had enough consistent interactions and proven time and again that the way they treat this villain gives us a glimpse of their mindset when it comes to REAL topics about marginalized groups. Bluntly, they don’t care. Okay fine, we block and move on.
You are taking this discussion at face value and thinking we are saying all wittebro fans are “bad, bigoted, and racist” No. Once again read KG’s clarification and see that is not the case.
Wittebro fandom really loves showing off their white favoritism and racism huh. They'll laser focus on these two white dudes whose dynamic wasn't even meant to be a priority while completely ignoring the actual main characters, many of whom are women and/or PoC, and then hate said main characters for taking screen time away from their beloved white guys. We only had glimpses and they made a million aus and fanfics focusing on them and them alone. They try to act like Belos' actions were in any way understandable because fandom just blacks out when they see a violent white bigot and ask if anyone will let them defang and babygirlify him. Lowest common denominator.

Again I don’t think you understand nor realize what anon or KG is saying.
Once again you ignore the fact that the general matter of propping up the Wittebros, Belos in particular, whilst ignoring or villanizing POC in the process to make a man who represents the worst of humanity based in very real and impactful history is tone deaf. Like KG said, POC have every right to feel and uncomfortable with people who do so because like it or not the way you treat this man, shows your thought process. If you can brush off acts off abuse, genocide, cultural and physical to find something “more interesting” or make such acts “understandable” through a “tragic past” then some need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture here.
Because if you’re doing this for a fictional character, what about folks in real life who’s bigotries are more subtle but still impactful? Do you care about marginalized groups? Truly? Do you listen to them? Or do you do backflips, scoff and say:
“Most People don’t ‘reduce’ The POC characters because they’re racist, they just care about them less and that’s fine.”
Do you realize how that sounds? Essentially what you just said was: “I don’t see the underlying issue of POC being uncomfortable nor do I care.” Me and other POC in this fandom have seen time and time again actual bias come from the particular wittebros fans that anon and KG are speaking of. Too many times IRL bigotry pops out of them and it goes hand in hand. Not ALL Wittebros fans are like this mind you, it’s a particular sect too engrossed with our lovely antagonist.
Yeah we can’t control how people enjoy things, but as a marginalized group who wants no part of unchecked bias or microagressions up in a space we enjoy we can group together, side eye, and stay away from those folks. And don’t forget the rest of that old famous phrase.
A few bad apples can ruin the whole bunch.
