Helping Him To Heal

Summary: After Sam’s kidnapping and torture by Lady Toni Bevell of the British Men of Letters, he struggles to heal from the pain and hallucinations the woman’s drugs have caused. To make that healing even more difficult is the fact that he believes Dean died defeating Amara, so when he sees his brother, along with their long-dead mother, Sam sinks more into believing what he sees is a trick. Rescuing Sam from Toni had been one nightmare, but now Dean would learn that helping his brother to heal would be quite another. He struggled to convince Sam that he was real and not another cruel trick of the mind.

Summary:

When Gabriel escapes his prison, he is severely injured and he thinks he will die, but help comes in unexpectedly. The humans and one wayward sibling take him in and patch him up. Quite literally. With temporary android enhancements, Gabriel will have to face reality and a cute guy who gives him a nickname.

Will he survive, and with his heart still whole?

Let's get kinky this fall. SWJP Bang will be running a weekly prompt event (yes you'll get the prompts well ahead of time) for Kinktober 2025.

4 prompts per week, write as many or as few as you like and we'll reblog every Saturday of the week.

Here is my piece for the SamWin JarPad Big Bang. It has amazing art by @masoenart. It's set after 12x2 Mama Mia where Dean has to help Sam get over his torture by Toni, so lots of hurt Sam in this one with growly, over protective Dean and more. Hope you'll check it out and enjoy it.

Art Post for "Helping Him To Heal"

A fic and fan art set for the SamWin JarPad Big Bang 2025.

I couldn't resist the hurt/comfort tale that @morganadw spun, diving into the struggles Sam faced after encountering the British Men of Letters at the outset of season 12.

The banner was the first piece I made and in the end it turned into an emotional color journey for Sam. Going from cold, hurt and abused at the hands of Lady Bevell to healing in blues and greens and a happier time as Dean helps him get back to normal in bright greens and yellows.

All art is traditional, materials used:

- 200g/m2 paper

- alcohol markers (2 brands)

- pencils for lineart

- gel pens for highlighting

- aquarell color pencils

- brush and water

- Photoshop for text and clean up as well as banner backdrop

At FanExpo this year i got the chance to meet the man who made Sam Winchester happen with his acting, personality, hard work, charm, charisma, chemistry with Jensen Ackles and apparance for 15 years on Supernatural.

I rediscovered art in summer of 2024 and have been drawing ever since, either for my own enjoyment or for bang events. So, when I knew, I was going to meet him I drew a piece specifically for him to sign.

Materials used: - 200g/m2 paper - alcohol markers - gel-markers - india ink markers The con story is under the cut.

I thanked him for the interview he gave with Justin Wren years ago now because the openness and vulnerability with which those two men spoke in that interview, made me permit to myself that sometimes you need help from others. I listened to that interview at a time when I really needed to hear these two strong men talk in public about how they couldn't get out of the proverbial hole they were in. How just having a good life is not always enough. His eyes were so full of understanding throughout. To be able to tell him thank you for that was a whole bunch of healing all on its own. The AKF was added at my request, his answer to the ask:

"It would be my honor."

The interaction finished up with him giving me a high five and telling me to continue kicking ass. Why yes, I will do just that.

So thank you for Sam Winchester on this birthday weekend of his and appreciation to the actor that played him.
