A divine tree you are, blooming with buds of desire in my soul’s oasis. Why this double-edged beauty? Forbidden fruit of my garden, surrounded by all good things, I intimately understand the first woman’s grasping hands and open mouth. Pleasure of my eyes and nourishment of my soul. The allure to touch and taste drowns fleshly senses like the cascades of damnation's deluge. To love beauty, to want what is good; oh, such virtuous and natural desires!
