Decided to draw a little something for Inktober day 1!

The theme was backpack and with the book of bill getting me back into gravity falls, I thought this would be fitting.

I’m going to try to keep up with the rest of the days but they’re mostly just going to be small sketches like this.

I saw this prompt and decided I needed to make one for my boy Eustace. I will be making more in the (hopefully) near future. That is all.

I thought that it would be fun to see how Mimikyu would mimic the rest of the Pikachu evolution line!

Mimikyu is my favorite pokemon and while I know that lore wise this wouldn’t make sense, I still thought it would be a fun thought experiment (and a good excuse to draw mimikyu).

With how the season finale went, specifically a bit of the rule bending of initial rules set up by the original series, I think that there's a good chance that Dev didn't get his memory wiped.

'Why do you think that?' I hear you wonder.

Because of Dev's sunglasses.

I know it's magic, but Jorgen specifically puts on a pair of sunglasses before he starts wiping memories.

And I know he does this same in the original series when he erases Crocker's memories in the 70s with the memory wipers.

Yes, I know is a reference to Men in Black, but in this case with FOPANW I think it is used to display a pattern/create a line of logic for the potential of Dev keeping his memories (because his vision was blocked from the flash) if there is going to be a second season (which I hope there is).

Another reason I think this is because of Dev's expression here:

Unlike his father he just looks surprised by what's happening rather than peaceful and blissfully ignorant like the townspeople and how they were back to what they were doing before they were told fairies exist, or confused/dazed like his father is in the instance immediately after Jorgen uses magic to wipe their memories.

So I think there's a good potential or at least breadcrumbs that we haven't seen the last of Dev and Peri's interactions.

I genuinely don’t know how to feel about the fop: a new wish’s finale. It felt like it was missing something. And made me go; “oh. It’s over.”

What is going on with Dev’s whole memory thing? He’s been one of my favorite characters since day one so I would hate if they just ignored him in the second season.

If he dosent remember anything then what will happen to Peri? Peri and Dev’s relationship is something I think we all wanted to see more of and they even teased us with it at the end.

The conversation Dev and Peri had was a conversation we had been wanting them to have for a while. It would suck if all of that was just undone.

I really loved his Dev-elopement in the show (I’m sorry) and it was cool to see him also have a fairy god parent. It was a unique idea the original show never really did.

The part with Hazel’s friends getting to keep their memories wasn’t really impactful for me because I never really got attached to them in the first place. It’s a unique idea sure, but one I’m honestly not to excited for.

The fact the change seems ok at best and the whole question mark surrounding Peri and Dev made my enjoyment go down a lot.

I can’t believe i forgot to mention it until now but I did really enjoy Irep in this episode as well. He’s always been an enjoyable character for me so I honestly don’t have much to say about him.

The main reason I started watching the show was for Peri and the main reason I stayed was for Dev (and still Peri lol). I think Hazel and her family/friends are interesting enough for standalone episodes but (at least for me) aren’t enough to keep me watching by themselves.

I’m nervous on how the second season will go but that’s assuming they even get a new season. I hope they do and I hope they address some of these potential problems.

I’ve gotten too invested in Dev and Peri (and their relationship) for the story to break them up now.

My friend recently got me into danganronpa and I made this redraw for a special project I’m working on right now!

This is my first time playing around with shading so I hope it dosent look too bad (as I did have a reference).

The way my jaw dropped when we met Irep. I genuinely didn’t expect him to have a square head considering the other anti fairies didn’t have that.

His hair makes me laugh so hard. He looks funny and still sort of threatening at the same time?? I think it works for him though.

Seeing Peri and Dev fight again made me sad. They hadn’t been good for each other since the start but I still wanted it to work out for them.

I also didn’t expect to see them back together so soon after their fight in birthday takeover. Though, considering Peri quits in this episode it seems their reuniting was short-lived.

Seeing Hazel and Dev’s friendship be made officially over really made me sad too. I really wonder how this will be dealt with in future episodes; if at all. Especially the ending with Dev researching Anti-Fairies.

We know from the description of the finale that Dev and Irep will work together to take over fairy world but I’m curious to see how they address Dev and Peri’s relationship. Peri is still his fairy god parent after all.

I also really like how they kept Peri’s good and rule-following nature like he used to have in the original show. He just doesn’t have it in him to break Da Rules.

Also the good luck charms seen in the episode are presumably a reference to the on the episode “that old black magic” where they are used to combat anti-fairies giving the user bad luck on Friday the 13. That is such a niche reference that never really comes back up in the series so it’s cool to see it referenced here.

The second I read “and Irep” I jumped out of my chair.

I loved the poof and foop episodes of fop as a kid and I can’t wait to see their rivalry.

My inner child is kicking and screaming and giggling right now.

To think Earlier I saw a fanart of a hypothetical Anti-Peri on TikTok and said there was no way They were going to put it in the show or at least not so soon....
