Just found your blog and wanted to say how much I love your style and your engagement with human-environment relationships and questions about the anthropocene. Just … wow. Thank you for sharing this.
It always takes me a thousand years to respond to these so I hope you see this, but thank you so much!! All I wanna do is connect with people so it makes me very happy when people are interested in the weird shit I make art about haha

Just dropping in to comment on how much I love your comics. Their mix of nostalgia, subtle hope, and the natural world strike such a special chord. Thank you so much for your work
It’s been a thousand years since I received this, I’m sorry! But thank you so much, I work really hard to find that little bit of honest hope and I’m happy it comes through.

had a great time yesterday clambering around a river valley with some friends. I made a little bit of a dangerous descent to sit on a rock by the water and paint this but it was worth it 🌲🌲🌲

I have been Extremely Into drawing the characters from Uprooted for the past month. It’s such a rich book, I haven’t even gotten to the other visuals--the tower, the forest, the heart trees--but for now here are some Obstinate Wizards featuring lots of Polish embroidery.
