How to Survive University from the Viewpoint of someone who is Neurodivergent

Hi so I have ADHD, Autism, and other Learning Disabilities.

These are the things I did to help survive University:

Get Plenty of sleep.

Set reminders

Use a calendar

Write down a to-do list (this helps me figure out what I need to do and keeps me organized)

Study for 15 minutes then take a 5 minute break and repeat

DO NOT SKIP MEALS!

Take naps (naps helped a lot especially when you’re extremely sleep deprived)!

Do social events with your friends.

Remember that you have resources available to you.

FLASHCARDS!!! Flashcards will and are life savers when it comes to studying for midterms and finals! 🫶🏻

I also suggest always going to your college/University Campus Library (they provide a lot of student resources and information to help you with papers, writing, research, etc.)

This piece is inspired by "The Unicorn Rests in the Garden." Also known as "The Unicorn in Captivity.", a Medieval woven tapestry. However all of the seven tapestries gave me a lot of inspiration.
