update!!

hii, sorry for being inactive n all, i've been busy and haven't really thought of this blog that much.

little update: i am now in in-person school in the temporary building that has been offered to us! there has been some .. drama.. at school but otherwise it's been really good.

if you're wondering why i'm in a temporary building, it's because my school is very new, as it's a montessori high school, which is actually a very new concept in my state (?).. and my new school building has yet to be finished.

but anywho! i will make a separate post about my classes and grades and such, but i might just start a daily post or update about the work i did for the day, just to keep me motivated (because that's the whole point of this blog)!

since my school is so new, i've actually been helping and organizing a winter formal for my grade, and have been trying to form a student government! i will post more updates about that once i get more info.. !

ahhhhjejjeje!! school starts in a week! i'm so scared yet so excited as the date is getting closer.. but i have a hair consultation appointment later today! so that i know what to do with my hair when i actually get it done.. but i'm super excited for the change! i still have to figure out what i'm gonna wear for the first day..

okay, so this is sooo random, as it is not related to studyblr whatsoever!! but i've been obsessed with operation: true love on webtoon, and omg... i'm only on episode 43-ish, maybe 45.. but wow second male lead syndrome is hitting hard.. but i can't get over eun-hyuk!!!!! ;-; this is a tragedy, but plsplspsl interact if you read webtoons and/or reading operation: true love! i need more than one person to talk to about this!!

life has been good. everything is moving at a steady pace. school isn't creeping up on me too fast, and i'm quite excited. i'm ready to see new people and new peers.

i built my desk with a bookcase by myself. even though it turned out really good, i'm stuck with the aching pains of my lower back after slouching and lifting everything up the stairs myself. i also got my macbook. and i got my chair for my desk. everything is good; i'm content with everything.

i can finally write down all my story ideas and not lay in bed while doing it.

the only thing i'm worried about right now is the picnic my school is hosting for us to meet our new teachers -- since we can't have an open house, 'cause our building is still under construction.

i'm excited, though. i feel like i'm ready to work hard this year.

things to do before the next school year 🫧

(if you haven’t already started..)

ORGANIZE : everything. even if your room is super tidy and clean, just look for those things you’ve been wanting to change about your room and CHANGE IT. if that means putting up little pictures or stickers on your walls, or if it means rearranging your books, makeup, clothes, WHATEVER IT IS! because (hopefully) when you take a step back and look at your room, you’ll feel productive and like you’ve made your space somewhere you want to be for hours on end.

DATES : try to mark down important dates that you know are in place within the next month. that way, you know of them, and you have time to prepare. whether those dates are personal, have to do with your work, or are school related. i also recommend doing countdowns on super important dates (ex: 1st day of school, big test, birthdays, etc.) on an app or on the bottom of your calendar ! because sometimes we lose track of time, and/or the concept of how many x amount of days is, so having that countdown to keep you prepared and in check helps.

APPS : this goes along with organize — but clear out your phone of any apps / photos / messages that you don’t need anymore ! for example, go through your screenshots folder and delete any useless screenshots (saying this because i take too many ss, personally) — and delete apps that are taking up space and are not being used daily, if not, weekly. same thing with messages / big media files that you sent +1yr ago. it’s good for keeping as much storage in your phone as possible, and to make you feel productive !

SELF - CARE : do as much de-stressing and self care before the start of the school year as POSSIBLE. no matter what grade or year you’re going into, it’s going to be somewhat stressful. self care includes : skincare, going through clothes, decluttering, picking out outfits for the first day, getting a haircut / getting your hair done, getting mani-pedi, long hot showers, doing your makeup / or practicing school makeup, + listening to music while relaxing. this will hopefully let you prepare even more for the school year, so that you look nice and presentable going in.

JOURNALING : even if you’re not into writing by hand, or writing at all; journaling all of your worries and things you’re excited about can help you release some anxiety. this will hopefully make it so you can let go of those stressers, and make you feel less tense overall!

omg my mom said she’s gonna buy me a desk sometime next week ?! i’m so excited :0 , it has a built in bookcase (i’ve been wanting a bookcase for all my books/albums for a long time)!!

school update : (that i haven’t really said, but oh well) we thought i was going to start school virtually, because the building for my school is still under maintenance… but it’s been confirmed that we’ll be in a building with another school for the time being.

that is… until oct-nov.. but we don’t even know if the school will be finished by then… ;-; so that’s the only downside! the good part is that we don’t have to start online because i hated virtual learning !!

i just need to figure out what to wear within these next 2 1/2 weeks..

make your space nice to sit in for hours; somewhere which you wont get sick of.

i’m thinking of posting study progress for the new school year? (ex: day 1 of 180 or whatever the # of days i’ll be tracking). something i’ve been thinking of doing as the first day of school inches close and closer to the present ;-;.. i know i don’t have a big following on her, but lmk if you would be interested!

(note: my study pictures of my progress probably won’t be “aesthetic” or super cute.. considering i have no room in my bedroom for a desk .. but until then, i’ll figure something out!)

- art : i’ve drawn my whole life, and even though i don’t do it as much anymore, i still love to look at people create and put out their work. i’m always open to support small artists (when i have money ;-;)!

when you’re mindlessly scrolling through your feed, be aware that is time you’re using up instead of planning and studying for your personal success.

studying might not feel good or relaxing, but it’s all worth it. even if you get a bad mark on a test when you’ve studied, don’t let it get to you. you will be happy with your progress later in the year if you take in the information and learn from mistakes.

i have made countless introductory posts on this account, but i always scrap them because i change my mind, or i’m unsure what use this account will be for.

i have always dreamed of becoming big on a blog, or something of the sort. and i think sharing my own academic validation, or some i find online will make not only myself feel better about how i’m going into the school year, but hopefully others, too. *as well as sharing motivation and mood boards :>
