About: My favorite hobbies are definitely doing something active. I have played soccer for 12 years of my life, and I got to continue playing soccer here at UCI! I also love going hiking or going to the beach to surf (even though I am not very good yet), or just hanging out with my friends. Some of my favorite shows are; Bob's Burgers, Shameless, How I Met Your Mother, Big Mouth, and Bojack Horseman. I am a huge sit-com and cartoon fan. My favorite music genre is rap and some of my favorite artists are Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Yeat, Rex Orange County, Kanye, and Bad Suns. Some fun facts about me are that I was born and raised in Norway (I moved to the US in 2015), and I love to collect little figurines. The last couple of months I have been really into collecting little figurines called Sonny Angels, and I got my first rare one the other day which was very exciting! Also I really enjoy my job (which a lot of people aren't able to say) because I work as a Medical Assistant at a pediatrics office. I get to interact with kids a lot of the time, and I get to see the backend side of a doctors office! I am really grateful for this position, and it is definitely my most meaningful extracurricular. I also really enjoy going out to different food places and trying new things. I enjoy my comfort foods, but I also really enjoy trying new things.

What are you looking for in your future Big/Little?: In a future Big I am hoping to match up with someone who has similar hobbies as mine, but also some different interests so I can potentially gain some new hobbies as well. I also would like to match up with someone who is more knowledgeable than me about UCI and the whole pre-med journey so they're able to give me a little guidance through this process. I am mainly interested in someone who is interested in getting to know me as a person, and who is excited about what their future in the health field is going to bring them! :)

About: Hey hey, my name is Julian and I’m a 4th year Biological Sciences major on the pre-PA track! I’m from SoCal, specifically Carson in the South Bay. Some of my school and extracurricular activities include working at a cardiology clinic as a medical assistant in Newport, being a former peer tutor for ochem (lemme help you get an A mhm), and being active in Kababayan and PUSO aside from MEMO. I’m also so so down to explore new hobbies and try new things, such as pottery! About: Hey! For some context, I was born in New Jersey and moved to Singapore when I was 9 and then moved to California when I was 15 for high school. I grew up playing games with my older brother and was put into tons of different sports and activities for school. I used to do show choir in middle school and now I'm on a dance team here at UCI. In my free time I like to go out and eat food, hiking and playing games, but I just love quality time so I'm always down for anything. I'm not a big TV person but I love movies. Some favorites include: Howl's Moving Castle, Porco Rosso, Interstellar, Whiplash and Cars 2. My favorite genre of music is either KRnB/RnB or indie pop (but my guilty pleasure is 2000s pop punk rock). I am trying to go to more concerts/raves this year! What are you looking for in your future Big/Little?: The biggest thing I'm looking for is someone who can just chill out and be on the same wavelength as me. Someone I can feel comfortable just spending time with and easy to talk to. I'm a yapper so I just want someone I can feel comfortable talking with. I’m looking for a little who is active in MEMO, ambitious with their academics, and not afraid to open up about themselves, so that I can share better advice with them! About: I was born and raised in Sai Gon, Viet Nam. I came to Irvine in 2015 and stayed here ever since, so feel free to hmu if you need recommendations. I like to be in door so cafe hopping or getting brunch and dinner is always preferred; but I am go to hike and swim sometimes. About: As said above, I love music! I have been involved with music for more than half my life.
