And here they are! I have absolutely no idea how dying/bleaching blonde hair works, so I just stuck to what I’ve seen on TikTok to bleach the darker roots (especially since I personally headcanon Marlene as not being a natural blonde).

I like drawing Dorcas with purple clothes or accessories because I feel like it’s her color (just like I love using green for Lily or pink for Mary, for example).

Rosekiller finally dating after years of pining but Evan is asexual and Barty is EXTREMELY confused as to why they haven’t had sex yet if they’re in a relationship and very in love, so he starts pulling increasingly ridiculous and elaborate stunts to seduce Evan and obviously it’s just. Not working.

Like he’s just hanging out in their dorm wearing nothing but panties and Evan’s just like “damn aren’t you cold” or they go out to dinner and Barty is in a crop top and tight ass leather pants and Evan is just like “you look so beautiful :) Anyways I think I’m gonna get the fettuccine Alfredo”

slightly off-putting mary macdonald i love you. mary whose first words to lily and marlene after a week of dorm-sharing was a statistic about quidditch deaths while baby marls was actively putting up her quidditch posters. i think she became more socially aware in her time at hogwarts, but never lost that weird bitch sparkle. like, she’ll absolutely lean across the table and trap a pureblood wizard into a conversation on the cult-like ideologies of muggle religion. she wears excessive jewelry and anyone who compliments them is receiving a transfigured copy in the next second. she’s in a glittered miniskirt dancing on a table but the song is the most depressing tune you’ve ever heard. she’s in detention for aggressively defending a friend but ends up talking the professor into letting her braid their hair. silly weirdo mary macdonald you are so special to me.

actually we aren’t talking about it because you aren’t talking about it. you are the ‘we’! it’s you! you’re the problem AND the solution! we are the fandom—the collective you. the ‘you’ who throw around statements like ‘they deserve more love/popularity’ but that alone doesn’t cut it because you’re not building anything!! you’re not investing or meaningfully interacting with what’s being put out. you’re not giving these characters layers, conflicts, beliefs, contradictions, tensions, stakes, space to evolve, flaws, complexity, vulnerabilities. you’re not saying anything about what it means.
