Happy 20th Anniversary Half-Life 2!

Regrettably I was too busy this year to make something special for the occasion, but I might as well mention that on previous anniversaries I've made medleys and remixes of the soundtrack and I certainly will continue the tradition in the future whenever I can.

Here's the most recent one, "C17" (youtu.be/dr_FRy4Z5Fg), a Half-Life 2 medley that mixes some of my favorite sounds and melodies from the soundtrack into one epic musical journey. I'd love to do a revision/remaster of it one day and maybe include some ideas that were left on the cutting room floor.

I've also made not one, but two remixes of the iconic Triage At Dawn. The first one (youtu.be/wVhwIHlfmWs) is very old and quite amateurish (I even got the melody wrong by one note!), but I guess it has its charm. The second one (youtu.be/rlUPGmkDruo) takes the motifs in a jazzier, cooler direction.

I haven't been posting much for the past couple of years, not just here on tumblr but on the Internet in general. And while my creative output has slowed down a bit, I've still been working on music, art, web design and a whole lot of other stuff in the background during this time, and I think I'm ready to start sharing some of it again.
