Thank you so much for your answer! Just started playing to A Short Hike and I can tell I'm going to love it, it's everything I want from a little game. 🥰

I have had Gris in my wishlist for aaaages, so I guess I'm going to get it! And yeah I downloaded Tell Me Why a little while ago when I realized the first episode was free, but I haven't plugged it in yet. Dontnod games stay with me for WEEKS after I play to them (still think regularly about LiS2 💔), so I'm always a little wary about jumping into another one.

Thank you for all your other recs, I'm going to check them all out! On the other hand, I feel really useless, because everything my on my wishlist is either games you've mentioned, or games you wouldn't like. 😅 Apart maybe from "I am dead"? I don't quite understand what the gameplay is going to be like, but I love the graphics and it sounds soothing, so maybe check it out?

Steam sale steam sale steam sale!!!! :D I already have quite the list, but is there any game you feel I should look into? My top of the list right now is called "A Short Hike", it looks soothing and delightful (and is dirt cheap). I may also try out Spiritfarer.

i have not played much of anything in a while to be honest! i do have "a short hike," and i never finished it but i heard great things about it and i enjoyed the small bit of it that i experienced! i did not enjoy "spiritfarer" as much as other people seemed to, it was very grindy for me, but everyone else in the world loved it!

i'm checking my wishlist to see what else is on sale, and it looks like "tell me why" is currently FREE (only for pc of course). i obviously haven't played it, but i kept it on my wishlist in case it ever went for mac. it's supposed to have very good trans representation and i guess is the first game from a major studio to have a trans main character. if you play it, let me know what you think! "sea of solitude" is another windows-only game that is on sale that looks good.

i don't know if you've played "gris," but that's on sale. i haven't finished it, but it's one of the most beautiful games i've ever seen, although there are some very heavy themes. "in other waters" and "neo cab" are two of my favorites and both on sale, if you never got those. "tacoma" is on sale, yet another game i started and didn't finish but enjoyed and need to get back to. it's from the creators of "gone home" and has similar walking and object interaction dynamics but there's more of a story and plot to it as well.

other games i haven't actually played: "wide ocean big jacket" is on sale for two bucks, i got the demo and never played it but i'm gonna snatch up the full game for that price. and there is a game called "still there" that's been on my wishlist forever and is on sale, so i'm gonna get that, too.

is there anything i should be looking at????????????

I’ve been rereading a bunch of your old fics recently and I just want to say that I really love the way you write lilo - they have an amazing dynamic that you capture really well

Again, it's BONKERS to think that people are still reading my fic, that all those silly little stories are still out there, making people feel things! I just saw a post about how there are some fics that never leave you! And I realized that your fics are exactly that for me... There’s so many that I still think about randomly! So yeah, just wanted to tell you that you’re amazing! You’re my favorite 1d fic writer, hands down.

Anon, you sent me this adorable message ages ago and I'm sorry I never replied to it even though it made my heart all warm and fuzzy. It's so weird how one second you can be immersed in writing fic and then suddenly you're... not. I haven't been part of a fandom since I stopped feeling inspired by 1D - then again, I hadn't been part of a fandom for years and years before I fell into the 1D rabbit hole, so who knows, there may be bright writing days ahead of me, in a world I don't yet know of!

Anyway I'm rambling. Thank you so much. It's crazy to think that people are still reading my fics, and cherishing them!! I'm so grateful you took the time to tell me <3

Smush is very soft when he has the patience to let me brush him. He is a short haired boy, but there is SO. MUCH. FUR on his little body.

Has Tumblr done one of its classic horrid nonsensical updates, or have I fucked up something in Xkit without realizing it?

When looking at a post with multiple reblog additions to it, I can no longer see the names of each contributor, only thin grey lines separating each addition. I hate it with a passion, but I keep fiddling with Xkit and nothing I do is having any effect on this.

Please help.
