have been re-reading my own fic (i am my own target audience) and have decided it is good and more people need to read it so, some advertisement:

do you think Janet Drake is an interesting character with untapped narrative potential? do you perhaps like when women are really smart and competent but also a miserable disaster at the same time? do you like when women suffer immensely under the weight of patriarchal ideals they'll never live up to? are you simply an enjoyer of tragedy? when a character is doomed by the narrative — or in this case, doomed by someone else's narrative?

then you might like my fic: your parents, they were dying about falling in love . it's a Janet-centric story in which she knows Bruce's secret identity and they become friends, though broadly it still follows canon events.

So yeah read it and then yap to me about it or about these characters or whatever :)
