i often think about the fact that tecchou puts sugar on his rice.

like, this guy likes it when food combos are the same color, right? rice white, sugar white, boom. sugar rice. i get it but does he not realize that... salt is also white?

why doesn't he pick salt over sugar when it comes to his rice? what's wrong with it? is it not the correct shade of white or something?

either it's that and we simply do not possess his optical abilities, or he does it specifically to annoy jouno lmao. like, either works for him just fine, but just watching jouno going absolute bonkers over him pouring a little sugar on his rice makes him giggle inside

You can’t convince me that if Shanks ever has a kid, he won’t use his arm (or rather lack thereof) to convince them to do whatever they’re refusing to do whenever they are being difficult.

Just imagine him telling his kid they better eat their greens or their arm might just fall off, just like daddy’s did.

I’ve been trying for months to articulate this scenario and every time I try, I feel like it’s not painting the picture well. So, Imma try for the umpteenth time to get this idea out of my head so y’all understand why I GO FERAL OVER IT.

The Hashira are having dinner together & most of them are drinking. Muichiro, Rengoku and Obanai are the only three not drinking while everyone else has had at least one or two drinks.

You and Mitsuri are giggling together at the end of the table while Shinobu watched in amusement. You interrupt the conversation Sanemi is having to essentially argue with him.

Sanemi is equally as tipsy/drunk as you are so there is really no filter at all, y’all are saying whatever the fuck you wanna say. So eventually you say “I’m not going to argue with someone who has a shrimp for a dick” and Sanemi naturally gets offended.

S: “You’ve never even seen my dick!”

Y: “I don’t need to see your dick to know it’s small”

Now everyone’s a little captivated, finding this argument to be amusing. Sanemi being Sanemi, drags Giyu into it.

S: “if anyone at this table has a small dick it’s Tomioka.”

Giyu has had a couple of drinks at this point, so instead of staying quiet or rolling his eyes, he begins to laugh. Giyu is a little more bold when he’s tipsy/drunk so naturally everyone is shocked by this sudden attitude change.

What sends this point home is how Giyu responds.

S: “the fuck you laughing at, shrimp dick?”

Y: “So, Giyu, is it small?”

Giyu smirks a little, shrugging his shoulders

G: “oh yeah, it’s pretty small.”

The thing is, there is this aura of cocky confidence radiating from Giyu, strong enough to silence the whole table.

And idk man, I’ve been giggling and kicking my feet over this idea for months now

Y’all ever notice how companies irl can be so ridiculous in trying to help men maintain their “masculinity” by making traditionally feminine products sound “more manly”????? Like calling foundation for men “war paint” because MEN CAN’T WEAR MAKEUP, THAT’S ONLY FOR GIRLS

Then you got the TWST boys casually slaying it in makeup for a lot of their looks 😩 I just KNOW Vil would not approve of companies that make pointlessly gendered products like the friggin' war paint men's foundation and the "for women" pink pens/j Lazy or finicky characters like Leona and Floyd, and introverts who don’t want to be seen in public like Idia will still do their makeup. Even the traditionally “manly men” like Jack don’t think twice about eyeshadow and eyeliner. No one dismisses makeup as something “just for girls” or something that threatens their sense of self or masculinity. At most, they may complain about how bothersome it is to so makeup, but don’t talk it down as a strictly feminine hobby. Makeup is embraced as a normal thing. (The one exception here is maybe Epel, who comes from a village with very conservative views on gender roles. However, he has recently started to change and reconsider his opinions; this was a point of contention in book 5 that served as major character growth for him.) I just think that's a really neat thing (of many neat things!) about Twisted Wonderland! ^^
