So, with the VR goggles, I know there’s going to be tons of cool things you can do with them. But one thing I am hoping someone thinks to make is a reading program.
Now…before the whole “why would I use vr to experience reading a book” shut your hole for a minute and think about it.
Yes, I love reading real books. I like holding them. I like seeing how much progress I’ve made. I will always choose reading a real physical book instead of on a Kindle or whatever if given the option. BUT….
if I could put on vr goggles, pile pillows in the center of the room to lay in, and load a program that let’s me read a book let’s say.. in the middle of a tropical beach…or in a field, or under a ton of cherry blossom trees that are blooming. Sign me up.
Imagine sitting there, reading a book in whatever environment you want. Changing the settings to have it match the landscape of the book.
They could get really creative with it.
Reading the Harry Potter series while laying on the floor of the hall in Hogwarts with floating candles everywhere.
Imagine authors being able to create a setting for their readers based on the scene they are reading...
I’d love that…
Ok. That’s all. Just a thought I needed to get out…
My mom MADE me this harry potter monopoly set. Sooo cool. Dice are real bone, and the case is a repurposed 1930s silverware case. She printed and stained everything
