Completely agree! I think that may be part of why I felt so let down by where things got this series. I’m really hoping we get a S3 that goes a lot deeper into ace experiences than S2 did.

Heartstopper S2 Spoilers but…

Am I the only one who thought the ace representation sucked? In a show so centered around the experiences of queer teens it’s exhausting to once again be reduced to a “can you believe they said asexual out loud???” level of representation.

I honestly left the series feeling more dismissed and ignored than I think I would have if they hadn’t had any ace representation at all.

I wish I felt like that’s all it was but I well and truly left the season feeling like Issac was an afterthought which was a real bummer after the hype for ace rep this season

Okay long shot fic search for thasmin/space wives folks:

I once read a fic on ao3 I’d like to revisit with a chameleon arched 13 who worked at Luna University with River & Yaz. The doctor was also autistic in their human form.
