Interrupting my depression-induced hiatus because I HAVE to do pride art.

As an LGBTQ+ person in the USA this year, it's been scary to see how backwards our administration has been heading. My (now) husband and I quickly got married in January before a certain someone took office because we did not want to risk what may happen if we tried to get married after. And we cannot ignore that the most vulnerable members of our community are being constantly attacked and legislated against.

As a child of immigrants it has also been frightening to see the injustices the administration has been conducting towards people perceived to be outsiders, as people have been torn from their families and lives they've known, to be shipped off to places without due process.

It also has been difficult to see the violence and conflict that has been perpetuated by those in power abroad, and disheartening that the international community has not done enough to stop it or help those in need.

All this to say, Pride month has felt very different this year, but at its core Pride has always been about defiance of those trying to force us to fit into a certain mold. To experience queer joy and acceptance is an act of defiance towards those who would try to push us down.

So go experience queer joy! Happy Pride!

Meant for this to be just a quick drawing, but ended up rly rendering it.

Ike (PoR) got a Jehanna/Desert alt, and decided to draw Ike (RD) in a crop top.

This made me realize that RD Ike has not gotten a seasonal alt yet; why won't they put him in a fun costume?

Finished the last of our questing queens, with Princess played by Alaska (with a little cameo from Bob and Jujubee)! Drew her in her Lil' Poundcake look from AS2.

This has been a really fun project to put the Questing Queens in their players iconic outfits, hopefully a season 3 is on the horizon!

Drew Troyann from Dungeons & Drag Queens in one of Monet x changes most iconic outfits, the infamous sponge dress from her original run on Drag Race. This was probably the first idea I had for these D&DQ x RPDR fanart, because the idea of mer-folk in a sponge dress was so powerful in my mind

Last but not least will be Princess!

Sad I couldn't finish drawing all of the questing queens before the Dungeons and Drag Queens season 2 finale, but will still do Troyann and Princess, so stay tuned!

"Walk into the room purse first"

Had this idea for Dungeons and Drag Queens fan art for some time to draw their characters in ICONIC looks of their players. For Gertie, chose the step-down look of Bob the Drag Queen . Was hoping to finish this sooner, but Bob's outfit was so intricate it took longer than I thought! Probably didn't get the details right, but I was working off of blurry screenshots of the Drag Race season 9 finale

Working on the other Questing Queens, hopefully will be able to complete them soon!
