I'm Not Ok and It's Time to Admit I Need Help From Strangers
Just had to break down and ask a friend to borrow $20 so my sister and I can eat dinner tonight as we both now have $0 in the bank. It was one of the most humiliating things I've had to do in a long time and I haven't been in this place in years. I'm devastated to find myself back here. And with my sister, after how hard we worked to pull ourselves out of it.
I think the thing that is bothering me the most is that I pride myself on problem solving and fixing things on my own. I'm a project manager. It's what I do. I cannot manage my way out of this or fix it.
I am experiencing poverty and hunger and I'm quite literally at the end of my rope.
No family can help. Typical government resource tools are busted, especially here in LA. And no one is hiring me or my sister. Bills are now at least a couple of months past due.
All I can do is tweet and nap and hope something changes.
Came here to Tumblr to get that off my chest because I feel safest here. Even if this is ignored, it won't sting as much. Too much of a coward to ask for help anywhere else. The fear has been sitting on top of me making it hard to breathe for a while now. I've been unemployed since June 2020. My internet got cut off today so looking for jobs and attending interviews and meetings is now so much harder.
Can't even feed my damn cat or buy toilet paper. It's gotten pretty bad.
I humbly ask if anyone has 5 or 10 dollars to spare, could you Venmo or PayPal me?
Venmo: @Kenya-Jones-10
Paypal: @kenyaljones (Kenya L Jones)
When I find a job and start getting a steady paycheck again, I'll pay back anyone who has helped. I mean that sincerely. If you want to know more about how I'm doing, feel free to DM me.
And thank you even if you can only spare well wishes and positive vibes. I really need those too.

deity readings!
hey guys! i’m thinking about opening deity readings for a bit! i’ve gotten much more of a following than i ever expected on this app, and i thought maybe its time to give back!
the readings would be free of charge(although tips are always appreciated!), i would do them privately and then give a detailed report of my findings! here are some things you would find out:
what deity is reaching out to you most right now?
what do they want you to know?
how can you reach out to them?
what kinds of things can you improve on with the help of this deity right now?
i use three forms of divination: tarot, oracle, and a pendulum. if you have any specific questions you’d like to ask after the initial reading, we can talk about it! i haven’t really though that far into it yet, but i would like to interact with you all more.
furthermore, i do not work with only one pantheon. i open these readings up to all forms of the divine, as to get a more accurate and respectful reading of the deity! if you want it to be to a specific pantheon, let me know. i am not perfect, but i promise to do the most i can to clarify each message i receive.
just a few things i would need from you to get a more accurate reading:
your name! (does not have to be full name, but that does increase accuracy. anything you’re willing to give me! no pressure at all! even if you just want to give me a nickname, or even just your blog name. ill figure it out!)
your favorite color! just to get a sense of your energy. don’t overthink it!
this is COMPLETELY optional, but a picture of yourself! again, OPTIONAL. i understand if you are uncomfortable with doing so!
a picture of your left hand! this is solely for the pendulum reading, its easier to get a reading of individual energy with an image of the hand! also optional!
i’m looking forward to being able to help some people! if you’re interested, please pm me! again, these are completely free, but tips are appreciated, as i’m looking to save up for school and, of course, christmas gifts for my family! (no worries if you can’t, i totally understand!)
all i ask is that if you see this post, reblog it! i want to get to as many people as possible. thank you so much!

A little bit about Vlad Țepeș and Dracula
Hey, everyone!
Remember I told you about my blog Lune Station? My super post with all things Dracula is finally up!  \o/
You can read it here: https://lunestation.com/en/dracula-from-real-life-to-books-and-movies-halloween-week/
I’m a huge Dracula fan and I like to research in my free time about the myth and the real history behind it. So I talk a little about Vlad Țepeș, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova, Coppola’s 1992 Dracula movie and the classic vampire anime/manga: Hellsing.
If you ever wanted to learn a bit about Vlad III, I’ll leave the part of the post I talk about him! You can read the rest in my website  ^^
Hope you like it, people!!
Vlad Țepeș – Count Dracula in Real Life
Tumblr media
Vlad III, also known as Vlad Drăculea and Vlad Țepeș (Vlad, o Impaler), was born at Sighișoara, in December 7, 1431. Son of Vlad II, back then the prince of Wallachia, soon he moved to Târgoviște – the principality capital.
Both Vlad II, the father, and Vlad III used the name “Dracul”, one of the ways to identify them as part of the Order of the Dragon – that had as a goal to defend christian Europe from the advances by the Ottoman Empire. The Order, was created in 1408 by the king of Hungary, Sigismund of Luxemburg, and the queen Barbara von Cilli – having, also, a religious idea behind it.
Tumblr media
(The symbol of the Order of the Dragon)
The name Vlad Drăculea, also, can be translated as “son of the dragon”. Some translations, though, can be done as “son of the devil” – once that the word in latin “dracul” is used many times to refer to the devil. In addition, on Saint Benedict’s medal – used frequently by exorcist priests – is written for the saint to deliver the wearer from the dragon.
When he was 11 years old, though, Vlad III and his younger brother, Radu, were given by their father to Murad II – then sultan of the Ottoman Empire – as a guarantee that he wouldn’t rise against the ottomans. Living in Constantinople – nowadays Istanbul – Vlad learned the language and behaviours.
It’s also said that it was during this time that he learned to war and picked up his extremely cruel habits in battle – especially the impaling tecnique.
With the death of Vlad II by the hands of noble men, Vlad III, on his 17 years old, started his incursions to take back the throne of Wallachia, while his brother Radu prefered to remain on Turkey with the ottomans. When he was 25 years old, Vlad III took back Wallachia, killing Vladislav II – who governed the principality back then.
Tumblr media
(A map where you can see where Wallachia was located)
Vlad became known by his resistance against the Ottoman Empire – even becoming an example in the region. However, with his brother Radu leading an attack, he was taken from the rule of Wallachia, running away to the Hungarian Empire – that even helped Wallachia with resources.
Living as a prisioner on the Hungarian Empire, Vlad III even got married, had children and participated on the royal life. After some years, though, he decided to conquer back his lands – once Radu, his brother, had already died. Getting back to Wallachia, the ruler back then, Bassarabe, prefered to run away then face him.
Tumblr media
(Poenari castle, the main defense point of Vlad III on his resistance agains the Ottoman Empire. Some say it’s the place where his first wife killed herself, jumping from one of the castle’s towers)
Vlad III died when he was 45 years old, under still misterious circumstances. Some say the ottomans killed him trying to get Bassarabe back on the throne, others say he died the same way as his father. A part of people comment that his remains are in the island of Snagov, while another part say he was decapitated and his head taken to Constantinople.
But no one knows for certain what happened and his remains, apparently, weren’t found to this day.
Comments
This is what I could put together with my researches for now - I depend solely on books and the internet, so please be nice if there’s something wrong.
I’m always willing to learn more about Vlad III and Dracula: there are a lot of controversial and even shady things about the actual historic facts and some aren’t even a consensus of what actually happened. I put together the ones that seem to be for sure.
If you know any resources I can read more and research more about it, plase do tell me!! I’m always searching for more knowledge  ^^
And if you want some good Dracula media to read or watch on this Halloween, be sure to check my recommendations on my blog  ;)

Hey love, I know you get this a lot but I really admire you a lot. Honestly, it was your personality that caught my eye first & then your readings. I’m someone who struggles with loneliness & self love both of which you’ve advised me to heal in your general readings. Could you please let me know how can I truly enjoy my own company & fall deeply in love with myself? This is my BIGGEST wish more than any man or career. I want to truly know what it’s like to have a healthy self esteem.Thank you!😊
HOW TO TRULY HAVE A GREAT SELF-ESTEEM
Do not be fooled by the inspirational quotes you see on Instagram or Pinterest. It is not just about rainbows, butterflies and positive thinking. Self-esteem is a very real, tangible thing. You cannot achieve it simply by going within.
Step 1: Find your passion.
Because you need a reason to live. If you do not have one, you get depressed. You become lonely. You develop suicidal thoughts. You feel worthless.
And no, going to college, having a job or getting married is not enough. These are goals that society taught us to adopt. What you need is your own personal aim. And you will only discover that once you start living your true passion. Which could be anything, from painting and dancing to spellcasting and tarot reading.
When you have a true goal, you have the will to live. Neither mental illness nor poverty can stop you from chasing it.
Step 2: Look your best.
Body positivity is all well and good in theory. But in reality, body positivity has become a sorry excuse for some people to accept their average self instead of striving for their best self.
In truth, many body positivity champions are simply too lazy to work out, diet and take care of themselves.
You need to ask yourself if you are one of them. Because if you are, there is insecurity inside of you masquerading as self acceptance. And one way or another, that truth will come up to the surface. It will always prevent you from really loving yourself.
Step 3: Seek material stability.
Hating on rich people and bashing capitalism may be cool and all, but it will not help you pay your bills and buy the things you want.
Success is like a game. Complaining about the rules will not help you win. It will only make you look bitter and stupid, even. Instead, play it. And play as well as you can. Study hard, find a job, start a small online business, sell your art. Or find a rich romantic partner — to support you before you can support yourself.
Remember that spirituality is amazing. After all, that is what this blog is all about. But if the gods wanted us to just be spiritual, they would not have made us corporeal.
Step 4: Do not tolerate disrespect.
Respecting yourself means eliminating everyone who does not respect you.
That means cutting off your toxic friends and breaking up with your abusive lover. If that is easier said than done, ask for help from those who can give it. No one with a healthy self-esteem stays in any abusive relationship. If your parents refuse to give you love, you may not be able to leave them yet, but stop craving their affection and work on yourself while you wait to get out of there.
Same with social media. Block everyone who sends you malicious energy. If that energy is particularly malevolent, avenge yourself by putting a curse on them. Even arguing is not worth your time. Let them drown alone in pathetic jealousy.
Step 5: Never need anyone.
Humans are social creatures with complex emotions. So I do not mean, be a hermit and stay a virgin forever.
What this is, is a culmination of all the previous points. 1) If you know what you want out of this life… 2) If you genuinely feel happy each time you look at your own reflection… 3) If you can financially support yourself in this material world of ours… 4) If you never let anyone walk all over you in any way at all… then and only then are you actually complete.
And when you are complete, it does not matter if a friend betrays you, a lover leaves you, or the world turns its back on you. You will always feel whole. And that is what it truly means to have a great self-esteem.

Start now. Start where you are. Start with fear. Start with pain. Start with doubt. Start with hands shaking. Start with voice trembling but start. Start and don’t stop. Start where you are, with what you have. Just… start.

Just in case someone needs this today: what you are thinking about starting? JUST START. Don’t overthink. Don’t pressure yourself for perfection - nothing is perfect, so it’ll never be perfect. Start.

Staying safe while having a Mentor
because I run a blog that is open to both adults and minors, I think it is extremely important to keep everyone safe. I will not under any circumstances tolerate inappropriate behaviour between adults and minors. To do my part to keep everyone safe, i’ve compiled this post for witchlings to read over before applying and to refer to when speaking with a mentor
For Witchlings
a mentor should NEVER:
ask for nudes, even if discussing sex magick
discuss sex magick with you if you are under 18
ask for selfies or pictures of your body
ask you to describe suggestive areas or clothing (what size are you breasts? i need to know for magickal reasons. what panties are you wearing? i can tell you your future based on the fabric etc.)
ask for your address
ask for your tumblr, facebook, email password etc.
send nudes of themselves or other sexually suggestive photos
harassing you buy something from them or a certain store (for your learning, protection etc., however making recommendations is fine)
ask for bank info
continually push you to do something you are uncomfortable doing
force you to worship a certain deity
force you to practice a certain way
things to keep in mind:
a mentor can only give you advice from their lens of the world. take everything with a grain of salt
don’t be afraid to question your mentor, challenge why they think the way they do. if they get mad at you questioning their “authority”, let me know and move on to someone else.
this is YOUR craft. YOU are the magic! only you know what your path is. mentors are friends that guide and help!
in short, a mentor is to GUIDE you. to offer advice, or things they found helpful. they are not your therapist, boyfriend, parent, or punching bag. if you ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe, DO NOT HESITATEto tell someone you trust, report them to tumblr staff, block them, screenshot what made you uncomfortable and send it to me so i can intervien, etc. i am here to do my best at keeping everyone safe on my blog.
please reblog, and add on anything i may have missed. i want to keep our community as safe as possible

I went to get my blood work today, but instead, I got the price, and had to leave.
I literally might be dying and I can't even find out.
Tumblr media
I wasted my gas, it's incredibly hard to drive. I don't sleep, and I'm always in paim. At this point, it's hard to take it anymore and I think about the end
My dad is already diagnosed with full body inclusion myositis and is going to die soon. I can't take the pain of everything that's going on anymore.
Please, if you're willing or wanting to help, my paypal and cash app are both [email protected]
I hate asking for help. It's incredibly humiliating and I feel guilty, but please! If I can at least get diagnosed I can get treated.

Why You Should Consider Buying from Small Businesses
As the owner of Mori Moon Co., I know that sometimes people browse through sites like Etsy or Folksy and think that our prices are a little high, or are hesitant about buying from small independent businesses because it seems riskier than heading to Tesco because, well, Tesco must be less risky and better if it has almost 7,000 stores in the UK, right?
Well, I’m not here to slate big corporations, because that’s not going to help anyone. I’m here to tell you that supporting small businesses both local and online is always a good route to take.
1. Small businesses impact the economy!
The word ‘small’ often leads to people viewing independent businesses as meagre or other synonyms of ‘small’, but that’s not the case. Small businesses contribute on both a local and larger scale.
Local economy: small businesses bring growth to the community in which they’re set! They often draw commerce, tourism and a recurring base of customers that will often spend their money in and on other businesses in the community.
Larger economy: small businesses can contribute and stimulate economic growth by providing employment opportunities for others! This can only be achieved however, if the businesses is supported and given custom.
2. Small businesses are owned by real people, not boards, CEOs or stockholders!
This is an especially important point for a number of reasons:
Small businesses tend to have customer service that surpasses that of large corporations by miles. This is because our businesses are run by people who care; people who care about their products and those who buy those products. We take pride in what we sell, often because we put blood, sweat, tears (and a lot of love) into making and marketing them, and we want to give our customers what they deserve - the best. We’ll often go out of our way to problem solve, troubleshoot and make sure that everything goes as smoothly for our customers as it possibly can.
We won’t palm you off to someone else, who’ll palm you off to someone else, and so on. We won’t direct you to an international call centre or send you running in circles. We’ll deal with your complaints or your praise ourselves, because it’s our business.
Small businesses really do help to create a sense of community. This can be in a physical sense, e.g., shops will get to know customers on a personal level, encourage other businesses to join their community, and enable a sense of creativity and innovation. For businesses run solely online, the sense of community is exactly the same, actually!
As mentioned above, small businesses are personal. When you support us, you’re not just supporting our business. You’re supporting our livelihood, our dreams, our aspirations and us as people. You’re showing us that the risks we took to set up our business was worth it, and in doing so you’re showing those who have been toying with the idea themselves that it’s worth it - this also feeds into the economy thing we talked about before. As you support us (and especially if you’re a returning customer) you’ll likely build a friendship and rapport with us. We’re real, and we’re here.
Unlike boards, CEOs, stockholders and their kin, we’re not here just to take your money. Of course, money is important when you run a business, but for a lot of us it’s not the thing we care about the most. When you support a small business, you’re often supporting someone who’s got customer satisfaction and their products as their priority; most small businesses are born of a passion or innovation or idea that the owner has in their heart.
Tl;dr, we’re not profit-driven-money-grabbing-faceless-corporations - we had a passion that we turned into a source of income, and we care about having good products and happy customers.
3a. Small businesses often offer greater product diversity!
Small businesses often offer greater product diversity because the products we provide are often handmade! This means that instead of getting a carbon copy of a product that you could find in any chain store, you’re getting something unique.
Small businesses often offer products with distinct features or quirks that are unique to the owner of the business, or the person within it who crafts the products. Everything you buy from them will be a little bit different and you will never find an exact copy of it anywhere.
Small businesses offer products that are truly individual and genuinely one-of-a-kind.
3b. “But buying from [insert big corporation name here] is cheaper!”
This, cannot be denied, but here is why:
Companies are often able to sell products that small businesses sell at significantly lower prices because they source their products in,… ways that are seen as unethical*, such as sourcing from and taking advantage of underpaid and overworked workers in countries such as Asia.
Small businesses have higher prices because:
We often have to buy our supplies and make our products ourselves. When we do this, we have to take the following into account when we set our prices:
1. The price of our supplies.
2. How much our labour will have cost in terms of wage.
3. Making a profit.
If we don’t make sure we cover all of these when pricing our items, our business is not viable and we will be unable to live on our income.
*This may not be true for every larger company, but it has been documented [X].
Thank you for reading this! I know it’s quite long, but I just wanted to talk about this as a small business owner myself.

I don’t always reblog this like this, but I’ve been going through a week that HONESTLY. My inner self and the spirits that walk beside me want to set people on fire.
All I want to say is exactly what is on the pic: “don’t treat people like shit and expect them to love you”. And if people treat you like shit, remember who you are. Remember your worth. No one has the right to make you feel less than what you are.
Remember this. Hold this close to your heart. And swear to yourself no one can step on you again - you’re far too precious for that.
AND KEEP ON GOING.

These words are SO important. My life took a huge turn when I started saying “I am not worthless - and if people want me to feel that way, THEY are wrong. I am worthy of so much”. Keep that in mind. When you find yourself in a dark place, read the statement above and KEEP GOING.
the cure to self-sabotage is to anchor yourself to the universal truth that you are worth it. you are worth the effort. you are worth the difficulty, you are worth the time, you are worth the consideration. there is never a point in your life, in time itself, that you are not worth it. return to this truth when you feel yourself slipping. do not let it go.
