My friend needs our help.
She is a transteen who has recently been thrown out by her parents for living her truth. She has been wearing “Female” Clothes now for 2 months but she is still strugling to get by. Week 3 day 4
Yesterday I had a chicken wrap for lunch instead of soup. Was on a whim but I feel bad for having it? Today we are celebrating 2 people's birthday at work so easy are going out for food. There is not a lot of healthy choices tbh. Breakfast of frosties Lunch of what ever I end up ordering Dinner is jacket potato

Yesterday was tough, I was bored a lot and I didn't know if I would make it to dinner without caving in out of boredom, not hunger. I did Cave ish as I got an apple and a banana instead Breakfast will either be crumpets or frosties. Lunch is soup and multiseed bread Dinner is chilli and rice.

Week 3 day 2.
Sleep apnea is a bitch. Had a shit nights sleep but too proud to take the freely offered day off by my boss because I think my wife will look down on me. That's not right is it? Like I am exhausted. Everything Is a little disjointed. Food for today... Porridge or cereal for breakfast Left over veg lasagna for lunch Chicken stir fry for dinner. I will probably fall asleep during a meeting today so fingers crossed I don't lose my job! Yaaay!

Week 3 day 1, the 2nd weighing.
So I started this 2 weeks ago at 17stone (238lbs) I lost 5lbs in the first week which I was ecstatic about. My goal for this week was 2lbs, so I can say I have lost half a stone in 2 weeks. My wife stayed the same weight as she binged on cake and pizza the night before her weigh in, I did the same but my weigh day is 1 day later. This week I lost another 4lbs. So I am down to 16 stone 5 or 231lbs. I know I have a long way to go and progress will slow down but for now I am happy, my goal weight is 13 stone 7. Bacon sandwich for breakfast Galic mushrooms for lunch Veggie lasagna for dinner

Week 2 day 6.
Super tired and running late for work. Once the days start getting lighter I will be really happy. But for now I am so sleepy. Today is my wife's "cheat day" where she will eat whatever she feels like. I however feel like I should still do that within reason. For example we are going to a gathering at a friends later and will be ordering in, we shouldn't have all the trimmings with our take away. So if we get a pizza, not order garlic bread fries and chicken wings. Or if we get a Chinese just get the main and not chicken balls chips and curry sauce too. Today's meals Frosties for breakfast Lunch is a chicken salad Dinner is a takeaway of some kind

Week 2 day 5
Going to be quick this morning as I am running a tad late. Breakfast is a banana and mango smoothie Lunch is leftover pasta from last night Dinner will be cajun chicken breast with home made chips. I feel like I have been a bit naughty lately. Had a chocolate from a box from Christmas (about the size of a 50p) and had an extra biscuit the other night and I think my wife still hasn't mastered potion sizes as the pasta yesterday seemed like a big bowl. it's a slippery slope I need to be careful.

Week 2 day 3.
Well the wife is faltering. She wants a greasy pizza with garlic bread and chips and chicken wings. We are having jacket potato with chilli. I have been noticing a good increase in my energy and mood. Better nights sleep and proper food are probably the cause. Breakfast today was the left over sausages from last night in brown bread. Lunch was the soup with bread and crisps Dinner is jacket potato with quorn chilli.

Week 2 day 2.
First night with my sleep apnoea machine, it went OK, I feel a bit better for it but I still woke up a few times in the night. I have a training course today on working safely and dynamic risk assessment so I get to start 3 hours later, yay. Breakfast was frosties Lunch is butternut squash soup with while meal bread and crisps. Dinner is low fat sausages from muscle food and either home cut chips or butternut squash fries.

End of week 1!
Well the weigh in just happened and I was a little surprised. 5lbs down. It's more than I was aiming for and that's fantastic. It has really helped boost my motivation because if I didn't see the progress I absolutely would falter. This diary has been helping me so I will continue to do them, but as you can all see I am at no point shaming anyone (not even myself) for their weight and I hope you will all stick with me. If people could like/reblog this post if you have been reading them just so I know if I even have an audience that would be fantastic. Breakfast is frosted flakes Lunch is garlic mushrooms on toast Dinner is chicken and vegetable pasta.

Day 6
Last night was what my wife called a “cheat night”. Which means that she could eat chocolate and have a larger portion at dinner with a bit more cheese on etc etc.
I declined this for the most part, opting in to having an extra slice of the garlic bread pizza. ( Which made it half of the whole thing :p)
yesterday was full of temptations, work bringing in donuts and cookies, being invited out for a take away lunch and then chocolates after dinner but i refused them all and feel pretty good for doing so.
My wife weighed herself this morning and has lost 4lbs which gives me some optimism that I should lose at least my target of 3 seeing as i weigh more than her but have had the same amount of food and more exercise.
Today its frosties for breakfast,garlic and mushrooms on toast for lunch, Chilli and rice for dinner.

Day 6
I don't have enough data to do this at work anymore so doing it at home. Really looking forward to lunch as it looks amazing. But first I have to deal with someone at work who is borderline useless and in deniel of this fact. Breakfast is cereal, frosties l, not the healthiest but it will do in the right portion size. Lunch, as I mentioned yesterday, is cajun chicken, half a baked potato and veg. Dinner is pasta and meatballs. We are getting a delivery of muscle food today l, a hamper with lots of high protein and low fat meat, the meat balls are part of that. The most daunting part.
The worst part of this so far for me is the scales. I haven't been on them as I will do weekly weigh ins so I will see more progress, but I want to get on them, I want to know how I am doing, I want instant gratification and I know it isn't going to happen over night or over a week but still...uuurgh. Packed a lunch for tomorrow which I am looking forward to, cajun chicken, half a baked potato with carrot l, cucumber and gherkin.
