My name is Mahmoud Salah, and I'm from Gaza. I write to you today with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for help. My story is one of profound tragedy and desperate need. I was severely injured in a brutal airstrike, losing my eye and my knee, and my body is covered in burns. Our home was destroyed, and we lost many family members, including my aunt, her children, and her husband. Now, my wife Bisma, our children Alma and Atef, and I are left homeless.

I urgently need critical surgeries, including skin grafting and knee replacement. Due to the lack of medical resources in northern Gaza, I must travel abroad to complete the necessary procedures. The scarcity of medicine and painkillers makes the situation unbearable, and I am in constant need of general anesthesia just to manage the pain.

The hardest part of this ordeal is seeing my wife and children suffer. We have lost our home, our lives shattered, and we need your help to rebuild.

I appeal to the free world to stand with me and support my family and me. Please share my story on social media and donate if you can. I really despise this whole "self-empathy is when you don't give a shit about anyone other than yourself" thing. How the fuck can you just say shit like this and not feel a little bit like a piece of shit? "My country supporting a genocide? Not my problem. People in my community facing bigotry? Not my problem. i am begging you to repost this if you cannot donate. on march 10th, the first day of ramadan, israel plans on invading rafah, the last place in gaza strip for palestinians to go. in my linktree you will find multiple fundraisers for different gazawi families in need. please please please, like clockwork every year israel gets extremely violent during ramadan. this year will be especially heinous. two of these families have personally reached out to me. i am unfortunately certain that i have lost all of my own family and friends in gaza, as it has been nothing but radio silence fr on them since early november, they were likely martyred. those two families are the first people still in gaza that i have personally gotten to speak to in MONTHS. it’s so hard to see your home be decimated, even as a palestinian, my tears feel stupid because i am not sitting in the eye of an active genocide. please help me save these families, i cannot bare to fail anyone else.

At the end of the video, since the girl is wearing Messi Argentina jersey, he jokes with her saying: "They don't appreciate you anymore messi, they don't respect you anymore" to make her smile.

This is a famous influencer from gaza: Ahmed alhenawi. He came to gaza for his wedding which was a week before the genocide. The little girl here is his sister in law, and the little boy is their cousin who's staying with them since his mother was killed by Israeli bombardment.

This is the same girl who said: I wish I could just get killed right now, because I'm so exhausted. You know what's good though? They postponed examinations!

These people need you, never stop talking about Palestine. Speak up. If they find it in themselves to smile and joke during this and not fall into despair so can you. STOP THE GENOCIDE.

I'm reading about how Israel, in the immediate aftermath of the 1948 Nakba, deliberately replaced olive trees and other indigenous flora with European plants. This ecological disaster, which is now proudly hailed under the banner of 'making the desert bloom,' was done to 'de-Arabize' the landscape, and to cover up - often with fast-growing European pine trees -the ruins of Palestinian villages that were destroyed by Zionists forces.
