the insane experience of missing a fictional character . like you can always go back and reread the book , replay the game , rewatch the show or movie , you can always go back & see them , but you can never experience them & their story for the first time again . its absurd to miss them because they'll always be there , but you'll miss when there were still new things for them to say .

for a small time they were real & growing and changing and you hung onto every new word, but now all they can do is repeat the same story forever&ever & they're not real anymore because you know everything they're going to do. & you miss them. its fucked man...

(To immerse everyone in a tropical island adventure, Caine is using the tent as a plane to “fly” everyone to the island. A warning light is flashing on the tent's instrument panel.)

Caine: BUBBLE, ANALYSIS!

Bubble: It looks like a small incandescent bulb designed to indicate something out of the ordinary, like a malfunction.

Caine: I FIND IT PRETTY AND SOMEWHAT HYPNOTIC!

Bubble: That too, boss!

Caine: RIGHT, BUBBLE? MANUAL!

(Bubble spits out the manual to Caine, who uses it to smash the bulb.)

Caine: PROBLEMO SOLVED!

Bubble: Boss, we may be out of fuel!

Caine: WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT?

Bubble: We’ve lost engine one, and engine two is no longer on fire!

Caine: BUCKLE UP, BOYS! (he covers a mannequin’s head) DON’T LOOK, THINGS MIGHT GET HAIRY!

(Caine pulls down the walkie talkie to speak to the players.)

Caine: ATTENTION! THIS IS YOUR RINGMASTER SPEAKING! I’VE GOT GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS! THE GOOD NEWS IS WE’LL BE LANDING IMMEDIATELY! THE BAD NEWS IS… WE’RE CRASH LANDING.

(And just like that, the tent drops like a stone.)

Caine: WHEN IT COMES TO AIR TRAVEL, WE KNOW YOU HAVE NO CHOICE WHATSOEVER, BUT THANKS AGAIN FOR CHOOSING CIRCUS AIRLINES!

(The tent continues to tumble out of the air; everyone is screaming for their lives.)

Jax: Raise your arms, Kinger! It's more fun when you raise your arms like this!

(Jax continues to laugh as the door opens, sucking him out of the tent as he pulls out a parachute.)

Jax: I can fly!

Pomni: This could be it, Ragatha! I just want you to know you were truly a one-in-a-million friend!

Ragatha: Thanks, Pomni! You're the best ever!

Pomni: I know you won't mind when I tell you...

Ragatha: Go on! Tell me anything! Tell me what?

Pomni: I broke your record player!

Ragatha: What?!

Pomni: The buttons were so small! It made me mad!

Ragatha: Oh no!

Pomni: I’m sorry!

Gangle: I love you, Zooble! I always have!

(Gangle turns to see Zooble fast asleep. Pomni and Ragatha turn around and give her an awkward glance.)

Gangle: Like... like you love the beach! …Or a good book… or the beach.

(The tent is still spiraling out of control; everyone is still screaming.)

Caine: (looks at the mannequin) MY GOODNESS, YOU’RE SHAKING LIKE A LEAF! BUBBLE! YOU’VE HAD YOUR FUN, PULL UP!

(Bubble pulls the throttle up as the tent careens forward. He then flips the switch to unlock the landing gear.)

Caine: GEAR DOWN! GENTLY NOW! YOU JUST WANT TO KISS THE GROUND! JUST A LITTLE PECK! A SMOOCH! LIKE YOU’RE KISSING YOUR SISTER!

(The tent slams into the ground, tearing up and chipping away pieces.)

Caine: I SAID KISS IT!

(The tent continues to tear apart as it slides across the ground.)

Caine: NOW JUST A LITTLE BRAKE! JUST A TOUCH! A LITTLE WHISPER!

Kinger: (playing chess with a mannequin) I believe that's checkmate!

(Everyone continues to scream as the tent falls off a cliff and into open air.)

Caine: COMMENCE EMERGENCY LANDING PROCEDURE! FLAPS UP! DEPLOY!

(Bubble pulls the switches that release the parachute. The tent immediately slows to a slow fall and lands perfectly. The players are completely silent in shock as Zooble finally wakes up.)

Zooble: Oh, we’re here. What in the world? What happened to the plane? What did you do to the plane?

Pomni: I’m okay… I’m alive…

Zooble: I can't even sleep for a minute!

Caine: BUBBLE, CASUALTY REPORT!

Bubble: Only two passengers unaccounted for, boss!

Caine: THAT’S A NUMBER I CAN LIVE WITH! GOOD LANDING! WHO SAYS AI CAN’T FLY?

I can’t help but chuckle whenever Tails introduces himself by stating, “My name’s Miles Prower, but my friends call me Tails” because… well… Eggman calls him Tails…
