we all know robert isn't the best uncle to lucy. during rehearsals for haversham manor, he'd bring a very nervous and shy 10 year old lucy to the theatre because of course he would, but during actual rehearsals he'd just leave her backstage or something.

during lunch break, robert forgot about her there, and a grumpy trevor found her. trevor hates children, especially crying ones, so wanted to do anything to shut her up. he didn't exactly know what to do with a crying child, so he started teaching her about how the lighting and sound works backstage. he accidentally gave her the big brother or uncle figure she never had. now, ten years later, the two are very close friends and they routinely hang out between shows and he whole-heartedly supports her in everything she does.
