A woman saying she can’t walk around safely at night because she fears rape is stating that women have a problem caused by men. A guy that says “so what I can’t walk around at night either I might get robbed” is attempting to lessen her complaint by saying he has an issue as well that is not at all the same and that women also have to deal with. Women don’t try to say men don’t have issues. We are simply stating our issues. Men take these statements as an opportunity to say they have it worse because of such and such. If men really have issues they can say them without needing to invalidate women’s issues at the same time. So please stop doing what you think we’re doing.
I never got why people think “not all men” is “taking attention away from women’s issues” In fact, whenever men bring up that they have it bad too, they tend to get silenced by feminists who throw this argument back at them claiming “we’re not talking about all men, it’s just too many men!”
You do realize that only a minority of men are actually bad people right? Oh wait you also don’t want to realize that a small amount of women do bad things too because they’re oh so perfect somehow.
If anything, feminists are the ones trying to take what little attention we have away from men’s issues because they hate the idea that men have it bad too. (making sure there aren’t any male shelters, invading any public speech events about male issues, etc) Like seriously, we’re just trying to have a conversation, why is only one gender allowed to talk about their issues but the other isn’t while they’re doing that?
You feminists really should stop worrying about anyone taking your attention from struggles that women have. It gets all the attention, and we’re not trying to take that away from you. All I ask is that you stop doing what you think we’re doing.

Quidditch Positions
Re-reading the Harry Potter series, a thought occurred to me. What if the position a person plays relates to the way (or the person) they love?
Take Harry for example. He is a seeker. He is constantly switching who he fancies. First comes Cho, the wrong choice by far, then (I know it's not in the books) there was that girl at the train station when he went to meet Slughorn with Dumbledore. He didn't settle down with Ginny for a while, always seeking something other than what was in front of him always.
Then there's Ginny herself. She plays seeker for a bit, and ultimately finds her place as a chaser. This is extremely fitting with her love life. She is constantly chasing Harry, and only broadens her scope at Hermione's advice, and only to ultimately win Harry over. She "seeks" others for a short while, but remains a chaser at heart.
Then there is James Potter. The man was after the same girl for his whole Hogwarts career, and ended up marrying her. He played a chaser. Do the math.
Then there's Ron. You may think he is the same as James, but the difference is that he and Hermione started out as friends, and he found her annoying before that. Ron is a keeper. He kept Hermione close by him for years without realizing what he had found in her. Once he did, he never let her go.
Just my two cents. I don't want to think about what being a beater might mean. 😅
