We’re thrilled at the response to our post about the exchange running again this year, and therefore excited to announce you can start signing up for the exchange!

Important: 

1. Commitment is really important to this exchange! In the past, some of our participants have been no-shows, which really left their giftees out in the cold, and we want to make especially sure this year that everyone receives their gifts! So if you need to drop out, you must let us know before December 14th so that we can find a pinch-hitter for your giftee. For more info, see the last FAQ.

2. If you’d like to sign up as a pinch-hitter - either in conjunction with being a Secret Santa or just to be on the reserve list - there is an option on the form to indicate this. Please select it so that we know who to call on if the need arises!

A “Callout Post”

The fact that this is happening is really, really disgusting for me to see. It’s bullying and emotional abuse.

I’m not going to go into the whole story behind this because it’s long and not my story to tell but this post is a response to stuff I’ve been seeing recently in the fandom. There is a culture among the Silm fandom to “””call out””” other people for “”problematic”” behaviour and this just leads to favouritism and forming groups. These groups attack perfectly innocent people and end up becoming a form of emotional abuse. One of my dearest friends is being targeted by groups of these people and recently got attacked by another blog who reposted their content without giving them credit.

This shit is fucking disgusting and anyone in support of the Irmo blog should just unfollow me because I don’t want the support of someone who’s not only in favour of blatant content theft but also in favour of this dick who completely changed to issue and somehow made themselves a victim when all that Arthur did was say ‘fuck’. 

So, yeah. I’m calling these people the fuck out. I would tag the people associated with this shitty behaviour but they’ve thankfully blocked me and saved me the trouble of typing their names. They’re ruining my friend’s life for no reason and yes, he’s genuinely upset. It’s horrible to see him constantly get attacked and have to defend himself. It’s horrible to see him ask for help because he’s so upset he can’t even defend himself anymore.

It’s enough. Stop the shitty drama. Stop attacking him. It’s enough. 

I’m sorry I have to break my silence like this and swear and it’s not my usual content but I’m just so angry that I can’t ignore this and stay silent.

Just gonna chime in and say I’m extremely disappointed that this is happening tbh. Arthur is a lovely person and he was genuinely in the right on this issue.... it’s HIS content and he doesn’t have to say ‘please don’t repost’ because it’s HIS content! It’s common sense. The Irmo blog who did this shit is dumb and rude and I’m genuinely so angry because they’re upsetting one of my closest friends who genuinely did nothing wrong. And if you think that Irmo blog is in the right, unfollow me right now.

Are you kidding me? “Hhhhhh how was I supposed to know it was YOURSSS owo the content you make on your blog isnt yours unless you clarify.” Excuse me? Do you go to an artist’s blog and steal their shit because they didn’t go “oh btw the content i made is mine”???

Listen, if someone says dude don’t fucking repost my work, don’t go “aha!! but you said fuck so, who’s the real villain here!!” Just. Take it down. Holy shit. How uncalled for.

But no!! They make a post about how I’M the asshole (because I said fuck??? Which I do in any casual conversation??) and it got THIRTY SEVEN NOTES. 

I initially reblogged thier post saying wtf take it down. They took down the post, I moved on and deleted my reblog. They did not move on. They make a huge unnecessary “callout post.”

You didn’t stay calm. You were a massive fucking asshole. That conversation could have gone fine if you didnt keep mocking me about being uneducated and uncultured because I said “fuck.” Grow up.

People are going to see this and “come forward” with all sorts of lies about me. Don’t believe them.

Announcement to all artists!! Unless you SPECIFICALLY put “DON’T REPOST” on your art, people can repost it!!

Also: saying fuck on the internet is NOT ALLOWED. 

I’ll admit freely. I was angry. I said “fuck” (aaa!! oh no!!). But okay? Who WOULDNT be angry at 1) having their stuff be reposted THE DAY OF POSTING IT, ALMOST IMMEDIATELY, 2) being condescended to the whole time about needing “manners’ and “etiquette” and “education”? When asked to take down a repost, they just changed the topic to chewing me out for saying “fuck.” I did say thank you, etc, etc, multiple times. Now they’re claiming I “bullied” them in that brief interaction and framing me as some sort of huge toxic villain, escalating it for no reason. Please do not support this kind of behavior.

I know you don’t like me, but this sort of thing was completely uncalled for.

Naurin’s workspace can best be described as organised chaos.

Sketches, paintings and books spread all over her desk and her study but she always knows where she put her stuff. It’s messy, but mostly due to lack of storage since she has so many books and is constantly working on many little sketches and pages of information. Think mad scientist but more mad gardener.

The funny thing is, Yoon finds this system ridiculous and can sometimes be found glaring at the piles and piles of books in the study and attempting to find a place to tidy them, only to give up because the bookshelves are bursting with books. She’s mostly given up on helping with organisation and instead just glared and sighs.

Describe your OC’s workspace. Is it a clean desk with books and supplies neatly organized? Is it a work bench covered in paint stains and wood shavings? Or are their things simply scattered on the ground?
