This is primarily a Silver Surfer blog. I also post and reblog some cosmic powered awesomeness and queue nearly all of my posts. On occasion, I comment on stuff I find interesting. I like posts with citations and tag nearly everything.

Budd Root is known more for his cheesecake/good girl art, and rightfully so because he's so good at it, but his version of The Thing is absolutely (forgive the pun) fantastic!
If Marvel could tempt Budd away from his Cavewoman comic long enough to draw even one issue of Fantastic Four I'd certainly buy it.

To be fair, it is not you who should be ashamed.
A lil ashamed to have made this before I knew Shalla-Bal would be the Surfer in the new movie, oh well.

Band: Bal-Sagoth
Song: The Scourge of the Fourth Celestial Host
Album: The Power Cosmic
Genre: Symphonic Black Metal/Spoken Word
Subject: The Silver Surfer protect Earth from the machinations of the Celestials.
Lyrics:
Uatu the Watcher: They possess power unparalleled… ageless, remorseless. Without pity or conscience. Manipulators of evolution on countless worlds. Gods of the stars… the Celestial Host!
Zenn-La!
The Silver Surfer: I beseech thee, great ones… spare this insignificant planet… this earth.
The Living Tribunal: Humankind… Behold your creators! Behold your destroyers!
Arishem, Exitar… Judge and executioner!
Uatu the Watcher: They who sow the fields of the stars. They return to reap the evolution harvest.
Arishem, Exitar… Judge and executioner! The Infinity Watch: Time, space, soul, mind, reality, power…
I am the last scion of Zenn-La, Never more to embrace Shalla-Bal. I was born to soar beyond the stars…
Uatu the Watcher: And, lo. The exterminator. The destroyer of worlds. The purifier of galaxies.
The Silver Surfer: The edge of oblivion beckons…
The Silver Surfer: I am the protector of this world! I wield the Power Cosmic!
Arishem, Exitar… Judge and executioner.
Thanos the Mad Titan: I shall scatter your atoms to the four cosmic winds!
The Infinity Watch: Time, space, soul, mind, reality, power
The Mighty Thor: Hail Arishem! Hail Exitar! The Star-Gods have returned!
The Silver Surfer: The vast sea of stars stretches into infinity before me…
I am the last scion of Zenn-la, Never more to embrace Shalla-Bal, I was born to soar beyond the stars.
Uatu the Watcher: Paradise unearned is but a land of shadows.

Conversation
Me: I look so awesome~ (in the silver glitter two piece jump suit I got for X-Mas)
Mum: Yes, you're like the Silver Surfer~
Me: I- what? But he's a villian.
Mum: He is? Oh. What does he do?
Me: Idk, he's silver and he surfs and is generally bad, I guess.
Mum: Okay, you can be Silver Supergirl then.
Me: Yey!

How do you reconcile the origin of the Marvel Universe as depicted in "Galactus: The Origin" with the one implied in "Thanos Quest/Infinity Gauntlet/Infinity War/Infinity Crusade"?
bad writing
