The Elemental Hermit was about to introduce a new topic to the Student when a bundle appeared before his face. It seemed to be a piece of sweet bread wrapped in linen.

"Happy Anniversary! It's been another year of our training and here's our little enjoyment!"

The Master of all Elements hesitated for a moment. The Creation he became didn't need the food to nourish the Body. He didn't want it to be wasted [on him]. 

Felix was well prepared to tackle that reluctance. 

"It's for you and I put an extra effort to acquire such a treat in this time of rationing. It's only us here and the cake will dry fast in this scorching heat if we don't consume it."

The Hermit gave a sigh as he realised there was nothing to oppose anymore. The smile replaced confusion on his face. 

"Well, if you put it that way.."

After all, the Ancient Being was among the living again. And to remain human-like he needed to act like one [sometimes].
