Sometimes i think that maybe i was put on this earth to be someone's childhood friend, bestfriend, close friend, classmate, or even chairmate. I have unlimited platonic love for friends and strangers. And if fate really said that i was meant only for platonic love, i will accept it

Throwback one year ago when i had a random thought. I wanted a rival, academically, after i watched Anne With An E. I forgot to mention i wanted a Gilbert Blythe look alike, not an ugly misogny shrek.

You have a test tomorrow and you want to memorize everything perfectly? I got you!

Steps:

1. Sleep at 7 pm and wake up at 2 am (your brain works properly in calm situation so you can study better).

2. Before go to bed, read some topics and highlighter important things (your brain memorize what you see before going to sleep).

3. Study with flash cards will help you a lot.

4. Use pomodoro method (30 minutes studying 5 minutes rest).

5. Watch what you eat, eggs and fishes are good to stimulate your brain. Don't forget to eat breakfast.

Don't study because you have to, study because you love to. It will impact your brain a lot !!

I grew up as an academic achiever, straight A student you would say. Nevertheless sometimes i still get a C or even lower. No, getting bad grades is never a curse for me.

Once upon a time, i went back from school with my math exam paper. Red massive zero on top of it, looks like a cherry. I handed it to my parents at the living room. Staring at my toes, waiting while they reading it. My teacher said I will get into a trouble the second i handed the paper to my parents. It's been 5 seconds, and the only thing i hear from my parents is laugh, they cracked and say "don't you dare feel sad or think we feel dissapointed with your score-" they can't even finish the sentence, laughing too hard. "At least you bring an egg for us, let's cook it for our lunch!" Just like that they get up and hug me. My dad holds my hand walking to the kitchen while my mom preparing our lunch. I don't know where that exam paper went, maybe my dad made a paper plane from it and threw it away. My soul still confused, eyes staring blankly. But i know one thing for sure.

Now i know the big impact of how parents treat their kids and how parents look at their kids when they get bad grades can impact how kids perceive scores and school life. Grades are important, but your kid's mental health is the most crucial part.

Why people expect higher when a student always get an A or A+ ? Every other students get complements even if they scored lower than you. That's why our school life is complicated. All you can do is just remind yourself that you're getting better and better everyday. Forget what others think about you, focus on yourself and your goals. You got it!
