Do you ever feel like no one will ever be on your level? Not in a narcissist way. Just like no one will ever share your passions or goals with you or have the drive to keep up with you? I do sis.

Small biz owner, blogger, student, artist, and part time employee over here just trying to find a friend or partner who doesn’t go “that’s cool” and move on when I talk about my life.

People my age (I’m not even 20 btw) are not as emotionally mature or have as much experience as I do. Nothing wrong with that, kind wish that was me sometimes, but my life circumstances said “that’s tough”. I’m grateful for my accomplishments, but I resent them sometimes because it’s alienated me from ppl my age & those who used to be my ride or die best friends.

That’s why I want to have someone “on my level” just so I have company and actual support. Real support. Not blanket encouragement or congratulations. Those things are nice and appreciated, but they don’t help practically. Kind words don’t help me manage my business or research or write. Kind words don’t pay the bills and keep me from burnout. I need someone on my level, to keep up with and help me. But can’t find anyone. Never have and I’m afraid I never will. I’m afraid not finding that person is gonna be my downfall.

People can say “all you need is yourself” but that toxic encouragement and downright wrong. Everyone needs help. Kpop idols have a whole team of people helping them day on and day out. CEOs have assistants and board members. Motivational speakers have editions, trainers, and event managers. Everyone needs help. I just hope I can find mine.

2 - taking photos and videos at parties 24/7 but claiming to be busy

3 - posting on social media but claiming to not be on their phone

Work-life balance means add more work into your life right? Or does it mean subtract life from work? Or does it mean subtract both? But then I wouldn’t have or be anything. Ahhh so work-life balance actually means nothing :0
