My attempts to conventionally journal Earth’s Crust Pizza / Crazy Monkey Juicebar were immediately derailed when a shirtless, wild-haired man casually approached me mid-photograph and asked “Earth’s Crust Pizza, I wonder what that means?”  This is how I met John Lotus, owner and master mind behind this one-of-a-kind mobile vendor and a variety of other services in the North Columbus area.  John showed me all around his solar-powered, responsibly-resourced production, eventually taking me onto the roof to show off his solar panels and miniature train set.  A truly unique man and food experience, John explained how his guidance counselor suggested he drop out of school after 8th grade.  Knowing his intelligence was with the physical and not the conceptual world, John worked as an electrician, eventually building his own businesses, supported by the fire of his unique creative visions.
Crazy Monkey Juicebar / Earth’s Crust Pizza
Price Range: $
Serving:  Responsibly sourced juices, smoothies, and wholesome pizzas for omnivorous, vegetarian, and vegan customers.  John also served me some of his Bison chili, calling it “good fuel for work.”
Perks:  Local, responsible, catering to all palettes and dietary needs. Potential for learning incredible life lessons, also great food.
