Hello Hello! Terribly sorry for the wait. I'm truly sorry that my writer's block has killed my drive - sucks to be invested in something and then BOOM! Nothing, Nada, silch...

But... I think (And I'm not being overly positive, I mean it quite literally) I think that around March, perhaps the second half of March, I'll be comfortable enough with the book to start posting.

Honestly I'm missing a chapter or two to finish what I want, and then, a little while to actually sort out any weird thing that I might have caused, plot holes, contrarian statements, etc. I'm not the kind of writer that just... posts, you know? I have my hang ups with incongruencies as a reader that I don't want to burden you with… I hate noticing big ass plot holes…

so... to resume... Middle of March is my best (and realistic) estimate.

Hope to see you there when I post.

The Abraxas horses came into view and the Beauxbatons delegation soon came out of the carriage. All clad in those flimsy and elegant blue robes that, for some reason, had Harry imagining Draco on. He was sure the blonde would look stunning in them, he was just as pretty as Fleur and Draco had long legs - Harry was pretty sure that pants cut would look amazing on him… Wait, what?

He almost missed the Drumstrang entrance, shocked by his own musings, but the excited pack of children - and Ron’s insistent chatter  - got him out of his thoughts. 

The ship’s mast was cutting through the lake’s surface, showing itself in its grandeur.

Better suited for winter, the Drumstrang students came out and showed their red uniforms with no little amount of pride - giving Harry another unwanted mental image of Draco on foreign school uniforms that he pushed back as he was herded inside for supper.

He mostly ignored Ron and Hermione’s bickering, as his mind was reeling. 

What the fuck?

In an objective standpoint, Harry was aware that Draco was beautiful - in that somewhat androgynous fashion where depending on what he was wearing could look both pretty and/or handsome - but his thoughts of it were just observations - not actually opinions.

Was he attracted to Draco? Romantically? Perhaps sexually?

No, that was dumb… right?

This took longer than I wanted, it's full of mistakes, but... I'm kind of proud? Jesus… that's a lot for my usual stuff...

This from chapter Thirteen (13)! ------------

After hours, and carefully labeling each and every container, the sound of footsteps got their attention. They were fast paced but not erratic, short, like a child’s. Confirming his assumptions, Draco saw Granger bushy hair poking out of the corridor, closely followed by Weasley… odd she wasn’t wearing the hairpin…

“Is it safe? Are you two alright? Please say something, it's been hours!” Weasley yelled.

“It 's safe! You can come in, just… don’t touch anything AND it's pretty gross here, so… yeah, that.” Answered Potter, rather loudly.

Draco was hit by something odd when Granger and Weasley walked slowly up to them. 

Suspicion. 

He couldn’t pinpoint exactly why, but with lightning speed he pointed his wand against Weasley’s neck.

“What the hell, Malfoy!? What are you doing?” Potter yelled. Draco ignored him, and got pretty close to Weasley.

“Yeah! What is going on?” Asked Weasley, meekly. 

Draco narrowed his eyes, and in a very odd move to anyone but him, he took a long hard inhalation right on Weasley’s neck.

He heard “Granger” gasp, and Weasley shiver, but like a surprise attack to his senses, one thing was clear to him.

This was not Ronald Weasley. 

Draco was not sure, but he could have sworn he snarled the words. “Cut the crap, you are not Ronald.” Not-Weasley’s eyes got big as saucers. “You reek of polyjuice and leather, parchment and ink, didn’t you know that polyjuice cannot change someone’s scent? So…”  Draco willed the tip of his wand to heat up. “Who the hell are you? Better yet, who are you two? I’m not buying that whoever decided to mess up with Ronald, and take his place, did not take the opportunity to snag Hermione as well.”

He catched Potter on his peripheral, pointing his wand at not-Granger. 

Could have been minutes, or merely seconds, but after some time not-Weasley dropped the act. 

His posture stiffened, and his face relaxed to an almost impassioned glare. Draco could recognize it, even blind.

“Uncle Severus… What a surprise.”

“Seems to me that you aren’t surprised at all, Draco. ------------- A Little long, but I hope you like it!

 “Alright. Let me ask you this then - Does destiny exist? And if it does, is it really possible to change it, if you knew it? AND if you can change it… what then?”

Luna hummed, her eyes glossy and unfocused, like she was far away from the corridor they were in.

“You are thinking of destiny as a line, but…” Luna’s gaze focused onto Hermione, making her shiver a bit. Her eyes were so blue and deep, like she knew every secret of the universe - it was a little unnerving. “What if, Destiny, is more like a rug?”

What?

“What if, instead of a single thread, destiny was a big rug, with hundreds of thousands of threads? Each of those woven to hundreds more, so each decision or change, it's just… reaching another one of the threads?” Luna linked her fingers together. “It won't change the rug as a whole, right?”

Hermione felt like her brain had just short-circuited like her mom’s blender last Christmas - frozen in place, with the engine still making sounds trying and failing to make the blades spin. What Luna just said made a LOT of sense, but  at the same time Hermione couldn’t really process it - She guessed this must be what realizing a big mystery of the universe must feel like - like a broken blender that still tried to work.

“I asked why you needed to see Dumbledore. If you can say, that is.”

“Nothin’ to worry ‘bout. I’m missin’ a rooster, yer see, an by the looks of it students stole it. Professor McGonagall an’ professor Snape wer’ lookin’ fer em’.” He scratched his beard, thinking. “Why students need me rooster for?”.

“The Professors didn't say?” Asked Draco.

“Not really.” Hagrid thought about it and then added. “They did mention ‘the Chamber of Secrets’, but I dun think it has to do with me rooster.”  Hagrid saw movement besides him, then Harry tripped lightly and looked nastily towards Draco. What was that all about?

Now, with suspicions piling up high against them, they have to do a lot of things to avoid changing the future too much… but circumstances change all the bloody time.
