DC Twitter must have been INSANE when it got out that Superboy’s dads were Superman and Lex Luthor. Holy shit. The memes. The ship wars. The homophobes. The mpreg jokes. I finally got over hating the Velma and Shaggy thing of the first season of Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated enough to watch the series.
I'm on s2 episode 23 and nothing says gringo like having the latino character have an 'antique shop' of Mayan artifacts in Yucatán, selling and buying any archaeological artifact in Mexico is veeeery illegal.
You absolutely cannot have a precolonial antique shop because all precolonial (and some colonial) artifacts are considered (by law) 'nation goods' which means they belong to all the people of the country and therefore cannot be owned and sold by any individual.
The law that protects all these monuments and artifacts passed in 1986 but there were lesser protections before and Mystery Inc has cell phones so I would assume it happens after anyways.
Anyhow have fun with my Mexican archaeologist crash out, I guess.
