Elemental Invocations - Earth
Four Elements, each connected together by Aethyr.
lThese are the pentagrams of use. Each element has a direction, an angel, a letter of the Tetragrammaton or even a divine name. Each Element has power in the macrocosm and the microcosm (and I don't mean that just by means of "my blood is water", your emotions are also water. If you have too much water - you become more emotional and melancholic. Fire is the chemical reactions of my body - so is your will, your ambition, your drive and your hot temper.) So when working with these elements, take all these into consideration, understand that they have a balance, they have a side filled with destructive capabilities and a side filled with creative qualities. Not good or bad, simply a balance; a wolf eats a rabbit not because it's evil but because that's the balance.
Element - Earth Maxim - to be SIlent Colours - black, green, brown etc. Astrological Signs - Rules over Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo Planets - Saturn and Venus Direction - North Time of Day - Midnight Season - Winter Sense - Touch Gender - Feminine Tools - the Pentacle Tetragrammaton - the Final Heh Archangel - Uriel (Auriel) Demon King - Amaymon Elemental Governer - Ariel Elementals - Gnome Gem - Emerald Metal - Lead and Copper Tarot - pentacles Platonic Solid - Cube
Her positive attributes are endurance, humility, patience, practicality, pragmatism, realism, responsibility, selflessness, sensuality, stability, health, stillness, strength, tolerance, security and understanding.
Her negative attributes - Attention seeking, depression, domineering, greed, inertia, laziness, melancholy, stubborness, impatience, lack of energy, lack of responsibility.
Earth is nurtured by water (when you give water to plants), supplemented by fire (the sun, some seeds need high temperatures to sprout, burning away the old to make way for the new), and broken by air (erosion, tornadoes etc.)
So essentially, to strengthen earth, use water, to enhance and balance earth, use fire, to lessen earth, use air.
For example, say someone has an issue with health, they're taking medication and that but they just feel weakly, or not grounded or fatigued. Invoke the element of water to nurture them (water already being a very healing and nurturing element) to emphasize their earth. If someone is lazy and impractical, they need to see the sunlight or have a fire lit underneath their ass. If you wish to curse someone by creativing negative qualities in their earth, use air, or to diminish overbearing qualities (very prominent features, both positive and negative, that detriment your life), invoke air. Again, body lore comes into play here - the left hand is used for bane, diminishing, destruction, disintegration, the right for positive conjurations, regeneration. The right side of the body exerts influence, the left side gently attracts, dispels, deflects or wards.
So for example
Mary was ingenious, she had a lot of ideas and she had a basis to work off of. She was practical, realistic and knew tha her business wouldn't be made in one day but she was patient and willing to endure the work for the sake of supplementing her income. The only problem, she was lazy, she procrastinated. What do we do; well we would choose the best course of action which is to provide an energetic element (fire) to supplement this, add a fire underneath her ass to get her moving per say.
So get some candles, or get a bonfire going, throw some herbs in there that correspond to power, strength, endurance and energy etc. draw the invoking pentagram with the right hand and declare your intent
I call thou, powers of the fire, the sun, the heat of the loins. Thou that does create and destroy, thou who hast will, strength and perserverance. I call thee, the warrior, the soldier, the leader and stir thee forth by thy name. By the holy letter Heh, by Shin, and summon thee to come forward and fulfill this, my plea. Grant energy, grant liveliness to N.N, for she has fallen, she is earth that is stagnant, she must be inspired and granted the will to break through heavy rock. The seed of her ingenuity must be awakened by the sunlight of inspiration. This I pray that you will do for me.
Then you imagine Mary, the encharged pentagram between the two of you, infused with the energy of the names, the intent, the elements you placed in the fire and by its invocation through the pentagram itself, which you will then launch your hand through, with the thumb (earth) and the pinkie (fire), into and seeing the energy from there engulfing Mary, who then becomes inspired, her energy increases, she takes action and asserts her will.
An offering is given to the fire for its time and aid (anything really, except water which diminishes it, so alcohol can be placed in it because it will "eat it", tobacco, more herbs, meats, fruits etc.) and the banishing pentagram is done to release the fire so that it can go about doing its thing for Mary, the ashes can then be placed on her property or used to anoint some very specific things (like her pants to put a fire under her ass).
Say now you had an enemy, and you wanted to place him in melancholy and depression.
Go out to a windy place, or simply stand outside your own house or in a room with all the windows open. Draw the invoking pentagram of air with the left hand and imagine your enemy, state your declaration
I spit on you, I spit on your mind, my words are air that holds sulfur and destruction, I summon thee, O' Air, wither his mind, take the mountains and make them small, they can no longer hold the water that slips away from him like an eel, they can longer bear fruit from the sun, they are simply barren, dead and lifeless. Wither away, decay and let yourself fall to the pities of your own deeds. None shall thy hear, no love, no affection, but only the wind of your own thoughts that shall be your binding.
You then throw the left hand, with the index and the thumb up, into the pentagram and imagine mountains breaking, fortresses falling, imagine tornadoes and all forms of destruction and direct all this energy into him. You will then give an offering to the wind, remember that offerings are more of an exchange of energy rather than an exchange of material goods, but generally incense is a good offering for wind, or blow some smoke from a cigarette into the air, or spritz a good alcohol into the air, or even perfume or cologne.
These are just some examples
