I Made A Y2K and McBling Differences Pack To Tackle All Confusion.

It’s a very highly debated topic in our community, but I’m going to slightly defend the people that mix McBling and Y2K, if you go back as far as 1997 which was peak Y2K Futurism you’ll see a couple of girly aesthetics like baby tees, pigtails and even bootcut jeans the early signs of pink Y2K already happened in the late 90s by the time the 2000s rolled around it just bumped it up to 11 hence McBling.

McBling was just a 2000s kitsch that correlated with the rise of both celebrity culture and reality TV, the year 2003 seems to be its cultural peak based on the pop cultural material online revisionists have gathered, pink Y2K is what I’m referring to the girly aspect of Y2K which is kind of like a transitional aesthetic from the late 90s style to the early 2000s (A good example is the teen pop stars of that time).

If people are confused on the deference between Y2K and McBling show them this and remember the confusion is understandable.

tried refining the robot mode of Arcee, wanted to smooth the proportions and add detail n whatnot, I made her visor able to move upwards to look like cool sunglasses because Arcee is cool and she should look cool

He's small, he's yellow, and to his dismay is is always mistaken for the autobot you are probably thinking this is the grumpy and overlooked Bumper. Why would I use this poor obscure piece of trivia over say...Cliffjumper, Hubcap, or the not named yellow one you've been thinking of the the past couple minutes? I thought given how much of a lack of presence he has in both toys and fiction I figured this gave me a bit more creative leeway as to how to approach him as a character.

First off going into the design as a lover of old cars a vintage taxi seemed like a shoe-in, especially as a vehicle type its SEVERELY underrepresented in this franchise...just like Bumper himself, I specifically wanted him to have a slightly more g1 toy inspired body shape what with the wheels on the hands n whatnot. Those in specific I wanted to make use out of other than just being kibble so I made them arm mounted guns.

I also wanted to have a little fun being able to do what I want with his character so I used his underused nature as part of his character now. How can such a little bot be such a sourpuss? Well when most of your autobot comrades often ignore you it tends to make you a little grumpy. And much to his dismay the only Autobot that ever acknowledges him other than his commanding officer Jazz is Arcee who he wishes WOULD leave him alone.

Since I made a rough concept for a Decepticon, might as well make an Autobot now. This is the energetic and upbeat Arcee, I decided to give her a build similar to characters like Sidwswipe to avoid "the fembot problem", I made the back tires her feet for the purpose of being able to transform back into tires so they can be used as roller skates because Arcee always struck me as a derby girl, the hood of the car splits between the hood and lights to make her torso a little thinner and to keep the iconic "back kibble" older depictions of Arcee are known for, this sketch is a bit rougher than the last one but in terms of general design I think I'm getting a better hang of deciding where all the vehicle pieces go. Also... by the car design you can clearly tell I have an affinity for what Earthspark did for Arcee...I hope this becomes common in the future

This an unfortunately abandoned project I wish to continue one day, I made custom art meant to be used as CD cover art for custom CDs I was going to burn myself for the sake of me finding an old portable CD player and finding out it still worked, see if you can guess what the theme/genre is by the image alone
