Something about Gerri Kellman instantly and permanently ending her friendship with Roman and cutting all ties with him as soon as he betrays her by firing her. Something about her being the only person in Succession that is standing up for herself after being mistreated like that. Unlike all of the other characters she has enough respect for herself and enough pride to not crawl back to Roman after he mistreated her like that, unlike the siblings and other characters crawling back to Logan every time he mistreats them. It's part of why I like her so much, unlike the other characters she respects herself and won't be pushed around.
I also think this is the reason why we never see Logan disrespect Gerri the way he disrespects other characters (that is until he fires her but I'm talking about their professional relationship over the years). Sure, he's sometimes harsh with her, but he would never scream at her or hit her or throw things at her and he would definitely not make her "boar on the floor" and I think that's because Logan knows exactly how far he can push the people around him and he knows that Gerri has too much self-respect to be treated like that and keep working for him. Logan knew that he could hit Roman, disrespect Shiv, bully Kendall, make Karl, Tom and Greg crawl on the floor, fire Frank and make him come back but he could never do such things with Gerri because she wouldn't put up with it.
I know that people think that she is cold for not comforting Roman when he tells her that he's sad but to me that's a woman having enough self-respect to not invest time and energy into a person who stabbed her in the back. Unlike all the other characters in Succession.

I love that these days all of my recommended posts are either about the Barbie movie or about Succession, so when I start to read a post without seeing the tags and the post is about "Ken" I'm quite often thinking about the wrong Ken at first and I get so confused but it's so funny.
I just read a long-ass post essentially saying "Ken is the saddest little sadboi to ever sadboi. He's just a little guy." and I was like "TRUE" but I was thinking about Kendall Roy and then I saw the tags and I was like oh

I watch Wednesday and instead of shipping the two teenage girls who obviously have a lot of chemistry and would be perfect for each other I ship the mother and the headmistress
I watch First Kill and instead of shipping the actual teenage couple that the show is about I ship their mothers
there is something seriously wrong right with me
