This autumn, winter and spring have been, not hell, but a sort of purgatory for me. I've struggled with energy on so many fronts, my ADD and autism have wreaked havoc on me and work has been... well, lets call it a back and forth flipping circus in the midst of the worst season of the year. I am overwhelmed, depressed and life feels very unbalanced right now and has been for a long time. I'm sort of trying to stand my ground until my vacation starts, hoping that I will be able to sink down into the lovely world of fan fiction, music and art again. But in all honesty, I'd love to go full on Wen Kexing on a lot of shit right now.

Sharing that info is so easy nowadays which not only makes it a lot less complicated to get vegan products, but it's also a great way to give produce companies an incentive to become more aware and invested in animal friendly production. Look up which companies that produce wool from farms where sheep are treated well! If you like knitting, you can make your own clothes from yarn made of sheep friendly wool. Wasting resources simply because they come from animals, no matter what it is, wont help them. Honey, wool and eggs don't HAVE to be produced with cruelty.

Vegans of tumblr, listen up. Harvesting agave in the quantities required so you dont have to eat honey is killing mexican long-nosed bats. They feed off the nectar and pollinate the plants. They need the agave. You want to help the environment? Go back to honey. Your liver and thyroid will thank you, as well. Agave is 90% fructose, which can cause a host of issues. Bye.

Did everyone somehow just forget that Russia was the one who started the war on Ukraine? That Russia invaded Ukraine apropos of nothing, and has been doing everything it can to steal what it can and destroy what it can't? That Ukrainian kids are being stolen by Russia for russification? That Russia is actively trying to suppress Ukrainian language, culture, and national identity? That Ukraine is just defending itself and is literally just asking for Russia to fuck off and leave them alone? Did everyone just forget that??

Like I'm the nuance guy, and folks: there's no nuance here. There is no justification for this invasion. There is a clear aggressor and a clear victim. This is about as clear cut as it gets.

Russia started the damn war, and now wants it to end and is negotiating with the US (not Ukraine??) to get there. This is literally just wrapping up Ukrainian surrender to Russian imperialism in a pretty bow and calling it "peace."

Trump saying Russia's war on Ukraine is Ukraine's fault, is like saying Nazi-Germany invasion of Poland was Poland's fault. I just thought people might need a reminder that UKRAINE IS A SOVEREIGN NATION AND NOT A RUSSIAN COLONY THAT USA CAN GIVE AWAY! Am I going insane? Are we starting colonization 2.0 now? Is this supposed to be normal? A wannbe dictator sucking up to an actual dictator by helping him take over another SOVEREING NATION? If you're an American who voted for him or skipped voting because you didn't really like either candidates, you might as well been sending donations to Putin. Not wanting to help with military aid is ONE THING. Suggesting that Russia is rewarded for murdering, plundering, burning and destroying another country, is nothing but the utmost betrayal of the free world. I will never forgive those who voted Republican in this election because this time you KNEW what you were about to unleash and yet you still did it. You put a wannabe dictator arm in arm with a click of oligarchs in charge because you're either: - too forgetful to remember the past ten years - too stupid to realise the consequences of your vote - too uneducated to understand the complexity of international relations - too self-centered to care about anyone but your own immediate comfort or: you WANTED this to happen because you never cared about democracy, human rights, international law or other pepople.
