I think my favorite moment in all of solo leveling is where when Jinwoo is fighting Igris for the first time, and realizes his dagger isn't doing anything so he puts it away and Igris is just like "Oh we doing straight hands?" Drops his buster sword and cape and just smacks Jinwoo into a wall.

I feel like people who are genuinely colorblind in those soulmate AUs where you can't see colour until you meet your soul mate definitely make fun of the characters that center their life around getting to see color

Favorite fic trope is when someone realizes they're in love quietly and calmly. The grand revelations are fun, but give me the simple coming to terms that you're in love.

Falling in love but slow and gentle with the assuredness of the waves reaching the shore. You don't see the tide rising, but when it reaches you, it isn't surprise but acceptance that the inevitable has ooccurred.

Something that really slowed the teaching and spread of ASL was the Milan conference. It happened in 1880, and only one person out of 164 attendees was deaf. The conference decided that oralism (teaching communication via reading lips and speech) should be how HOH or Deaf students should be taught. This led to many schools denying their student the right to sign and even outright banning it in classrooms.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again but it is absolutely an example of civilizational inadequacy that only deaf people know ASL
