With the recent reveal of the Othertale scripts, I figured it’d be important to remind everyone what superyoumna has said about her AU behind the scenes through asks.

Particularly, about “her,” and how “she” is not Chara.

ok this is the first time i’ve written something long so bear with me if there is any mistakes 

characters :

young undyne and young papyrus

this fic is about how undyne and papyrus became siblings ….enjoy~

It was quite at the garbage dump the only sound there was undyne a small determined child she was trying to find something in the dump, she had a frustrated expression…

Undyne: come on…….

Her expression softens when she found a Rubik’s cube “finally…that would do” she said

“Undyne….”

A small crying voice has been added to the noise, she looked behind her to see papyrus in tears her eyes widened and ran to him “PAPYRUS! …what happened to you!?”

The small skeleton was trying to calm himself first after several weak breaths then he started to talk “ *sniff* the other children *sniff* took my car toy away…” “WHAT how could they where are they I am going to teach them a lesson!” she was angry and looked around her in fury “they got *sniff* away…"he said that with his teary eyes looking at her, she looked at him in sorrow then hugged him “it’s ok papyrus … set down ” they sat on a dry dumb undyne started to wipe his tears with her hands…

A moment of silence…

“Papyrus…since when we meet?” she said looking down on the water

“Um…I think since the explosion?” he answered confusedly and looked at her

“Yes papyrus…and from then we left in separate ways and you only come back to me when someone pick on you” she said that looking at him in concern

Papyrus was silent for a moment to comprehend what she said and then he looked down as if he is going to cry “…I am sorry…”

“OH NO! …no that’s not what you think I meant something else “she said that to him in response for his expression

“What do you mean?” he looked at her in confusion

“I-I mean…look paps I want to protect you whenever anything happens to you living alone with no parents or siblings with you won’t help me do that…” she was playing with her braids and a weak shy smile was on her face “papyrus won’t you be with me?”

Papyrus looked at her with star eyes as if he was happy with the offer then he looked down shyly “I-I can’t undyne…”

“Why not we are close to each other?”

“w-we are still strangers undyne …yes we are friends but still…” he looked sad

Undyne was silent from his words then she had a determined expression she put her arm on his shoulder then said “no papyrus you are wrong! We are not strangers or friends” papyrus looked extremely confused “nyeh?”

She shuffled her other hand behind her back to get something “papyrus I want to ask you something…” she showed the Rubik’s cube to him “won’t you be my brother?”

Although papyrus’ mouth was covered under his scarf but she can still notice his open mouth in shock with this request he also was silent which made undyne really uneasy about it and felt a little uncomfortable.

Until suddenly a hug came from papyrus “UNDYNE THAT’S AN HONOR! I PAPYRUS WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT YOU!” he said that as loud as it can be

undyne was shocked for a moment from the sudden reaction then she smiled and stood up with proud expression “no you are the great papyrus the great brother of his mighty sister who’ll strike down anybody who stands in his way isn’t that right brother?” she reached a hand for him to stand up he tried to contain his happiness by trying to be as determined as his sister he grabbed her hand and stood up next to her

“YES UNDYNE I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL ALWAYS SEE YOU AS A BIG IDOL, BEST FRIEND AND A MIGHTY SISTER!” he said that proudly, undyne looked at him with a big smile on her face she hugged him and said

“I’ll always be with you brother”

Papyrus hugged back “me too sister!”
