Heh heh, yeah, I'm trying out a little something called exposure therapy. (I eated a slice of week old cheese cake [it smelled and tasted fine]) Yeah, not to brag or anything, but I might just be the bravest person on the planet actually. (I only took two bites [I really wanted that damn cheesecake])

Oh it's so not fair that my younger brother is giving ME hand me down clothing. Like what do you mean you were a baby when I was 8 and you were so tiny and I changed your diapers and gave you baths but now YOU'RE GIVING ME YOUR OLD CLOTHES. Like wtf.

Been watching invincible with my partner and I'm pretty hooked. I watched the whole first season in like two sittings lmao. Mark is my favorite character, probably because he reminds me of Lucian. I love characters that start out as optimistic puppies and turn into sad wet cats.

Also the art style!?! Crazy how detailed they can get with so few lines. It's silly but I love the way Donald is drawn specifically. I know exactly what that bitch would look like as a real person. I love the way they draw muscles too. I've always been intimidated by drawing them 'cause you'd think you'd have to draw so much detail to make it look correct. But the way they just imply most of it is so good. Makes it seem so much more achievable.

My partner also pointed out that the writers like to explain stuff right off the bat. They don't leave you with unanswered questions if it isn't a plot twist they're holding onto for a story arch. Like you get to know how the murders happen in the very first episode, you know what Omni man is capable of. But it doesn't take away from the tension because your left wondering "when is he going to snap again?" And the classic murder mystery premise of "how are the heros going to solve the case". It's so interning I like it a lot. And even after a good chunk of the main cast have it figured out they are left trying to tiptoe around a literal Superman to avoid suspicion. And we still don't know "why?" Til the end of the season. Another example is when the introduce Angstrom they have the baulter brothers say straight up what his powers are. What he can do and their limits! Because his plot twist doesn't need that information to be a secret. And having them explain it show cases how smart the brothers are. They aren't just some nobody villain of the week characters. They're important. In the dimensions they start season 2 in you can see rudy doesn't have his new clone body so you can assume that he didn't talk to the brothers. So the brothers didn't get the control collar. So they didn't revive immortal. So mark didn't get to see his dad kill immortal, for the second time, in cold blood. So he was more likely to sympathize with his dad and join him in the planet take over. They're so important, TO ME, I love those boys. I hope theres more of the clones.

Anyways I'm only on s2 e1 but I'm pretty obsessed. Theres something about the way it's been written that makes me more partial to it than The Boys. Which is another superhero subversion show I enjoyed. I haven't really watched any normal superhero movies/shows in a hot minute just because of the whole marvel multiverse shenanigans made me kinda turn off of it. But I low-key want to read/watch more superhero stuff. Writing/drawing stuff for To Be Lucky has made me very superhero pilled at the moment. Any suggestions would be great.

I get a three day weekend as a little treat cause I worked seven days in a row. Wake up the second day and I've got a fucking cold what the fuck.

I took a pause on doing character refs to do lore/writing for tbl but I keep getting ideas for stuff completely out of chronological order. Part of me wants to just start with chapters I know I have ideas for and then just fill in the in-between later. But I also have ideas for stuff outside of the main storyline that I kinda want to do. I also have the urge to just start drawing panels and figuring out the placing of them later. Hmmm. decisions decisions.

I've made a habit of when I get a like/reblog/repost I'll go and check out their profile and like at least one of their things. But sometimes I'll be like, "oh shit, this person's stuff is really good actually!" and so I'll keep scrolling. Sometimes I'll go in a read the comments on a post, have a little giggle at what people are saying, then hit the back button. I think I've gone back to my feed. I continue my scrolling, liking stuff as a feel, and go "hmm, man, my fyp really lined up nicely! Everything here is curated to similar/funny things!". And then it hits me, far too late, I am not on my fyp. I'm still scrolling through their profile. I have been spam liking them. Now it looks like I'm stalking their shit. All because they left one silly little like on one of my dumb posts. I look obsessed. Oh, God. Oh, no. I'm so stupid.

after two months, almost 50 hours of work in total, it is finally here!!!!

during the process, i searched and tried a lot different techniques to render it exactly as i intended, redrew it many times, and i am very glad that it turned out the way it is!

i swear, absolutely every 49.5 hours of work was worth it, i enjoyed spending time with it so much that i would repeat it from this moment on.

Redesigning the main cast for to be lucky again. Focusing on Freya and all that damn hair today!

She originally had ombried hair that went from dark brown to a bright yellow so I was trying highlights/roots instead

We liked the first blonde and fourth brunette so we moved on to combining those two!

Not to sure about the split dye but we do like the side tails. Just a matter of adding a gradient or not. The more color the harder it's going to be to draw over and over but I want them to look like they fit with the rest of the hair.
