it has been 84 years and i STILL regularly think about the fact that adrien voiced CHAT NOIR in the movie and NOBODY noticed
(*ofc she’s not talking about his cousin here, i just assume that the characters in the in-universe movie kept the names Bridgette and Felix)

Mission: Impossible movies are fun to watch because you know Tom Cruise is having the time of his life doing those stunts. Meanwhile, Ethan Hunt is having one of the worst weeks of his life and really needs a hospital.

was originally supposed to be part of a shitpost comic, but I loved the image of Ford manhandling a gnome like it's a massive book too much 💔

The one shot thing erupted into a 20,000 word multi-chapter fic, so here's chapter 1, for anyone who's interested. It'll cover from RN to FR and deals with the idea (it's not new, I'm sure others have done it before and better) that Lane sexually assaulted Benji in RN. Please do read the warnings.
The Cost of Knowing
Rating: M - for subject matter
Summary:
Time seemed to have lost all meaning as they waited, he didn’t dare glance down at the timer on the device, he just sat. Using all his energy to force himself not to shake, he had to keep still. It was the one thought that stuck in his head: don’t move, or everyone dies. It was just enough to cut through the numbness, but not enough to stop the memory from replaying like an old film before his eyes. -- After his capture by Lane in Rogue Nation, Benji Dunn returns to the team with more scars than he's willing to admit—ones that can't be seen. No one suspects what really happened, and Benji has no intention of telling them. Not when silence is easier than the awkward sympathy, the sideways glances, the shift in how they'd see him. This is a cross Benji has to bear alone.
WARNINGS: rape/non-con (it's not going to be graphic, but it will be discussed and will be talked about throughout the fic)

Okay so hear me out— I was looking at pictures of Tom for reference and I was thinking about how long his hair is getting. “Tom needs a hair cut,” I thought but then— “Or what if he grew it out even longer?” And then I got the idea what if Ethan stops cutting his hair and Benji, erm, really likes it?
Might do a follow up one day with Benji actually braiding his hair.
Also, trying out something different.
BTW! In mid August, I’m going to open up commissions again. Keep an eye out for the announcement.
I’m going to be releasing a Benthan comic as a PDF for a small price, like $5-$10 US. I will release a free black-and-white version so everyone could see it, but the paid version will have limited color and additional never before released exclusive content, like expanded chapters or a completely new chapter added to the story. I expect it to be between 15-20 pages.
If you are interested in something like that, please fill out this form to be notified when the comic is live.
The paid version is a way to help me keep the lights on with the impending layoffs at my company. It's possible I will not be laid off, but as someone who has been laid off from nearly every job I've ever had, I am trying to be proactive about my situation. If you'd like and are able to support me, please consider purchasing this comic. You could view it as like a tip jar, but you'd be getting something in exchange.
Thank you!
