Hey, I saw your post about getting into Slam Dunk and just wanted to say, you're not alone! The English speaking fandom is rather small. I wonder if we even have two janitors. On the other hand, while Google translating Chinsese fanfiction is a rather tough challenge, Korean works far better (when you get used to the Korean version of their names) and the Korean Fandom is like...... So alive....... I've read a bunch of fanfiction that were even breathtaking after I punched them through Google translator. There are so many beautiful fanarts. It's slam dunk heaven.

Read all of slam dunk in like 2-3 days and watched the movie, got attached to Ryota & Ayako only to find out there is like almost no fan content. Most of the fics I have read I had to translate from Chinese/Mandarin. Which would be fine if google actually translated it correctly. I also got here late so everyone is gone except for like 2 janitors and a hand full of dust bunnies.😭

*In the spirit of honesty Im not really a big Dexmatt gal but this is not an Anti post or a post to imply that he had romantic feelings for Julie*

I like to think he did care about Julie outside of her being useful to him. I get intrusive thoughts about people I care about and his face perfectly shows how horrifying those are. He can kill others without regret, but he puts a knife in a picture and it’s a big deal??? There is of course the obvious aspect of him being afraid of his violent nature. But I also like see this as an intrusive thought about hurting someone you care about halfway acted out moment type thing.

It could really just be summed up with a “she’s just like me fr” but there is more to it. I did ballet as a kid I didn’t like it then, but now I really wish I continued and got to be a dancer. I also really like helping people to the point where it’s a personality flaw. Anyway the likely hood of me getting dragged into some stupid shit like she did is very high.

But also Julie was kind and just trying to live her life, I don’t want her do have died because she was connected to someone who didn’t really even genuinely care about her at all. Also while it was not his fault really, her association with Dex is what got her killed. So for her life to just be passed by and forgotten by him when all she was, was kind and caring even though he was so obviously stalking her is really fucked up. She’s a woman who was wrong and deserved better. This is also why I hate Wilson Fisk.

I also really just liked their scenes together and her as a character.

Is Dex/Wilson left handed or was this just a costume Choice? Capital Ds face the right so the we know the arm with the knives is his right. So why would someone keep their extra knives on the arm they have to throw them with. The chest holster is also situated in a way that the guns handle would be facing the left. So he’d probably either be left handed or ambidextrous right?

Can you guys tell I don’t have a job?
