How does your world and story change if the main character(s) are gender swapped?

Do you have prompts for friends dancing in a grand ball and just having a good time in general?
I read way too much Austen for class so oh boy do I ever have you covered
There's actually quite a lot of talking that happens during the dances, so they can be sharing jokes and gossiping about what other people are wearing.
If you're wanting a more traditional ball structure, the amount of times people danced together could be very telling. Dancing with the same person multiple times was a sign of romantic interest, so the two friends are trying to balance hanging out with each other while dancing with not being viewed as anything more.
Or you could move into a fake dating plotline.
There might be games set up for those who don't want to dance, aren't socially expected to dance, or are simply unable to. The characters could spend the time playing games.
Interestingly, refusing a dance with someone was essentially saying you weren't going to dance at all, so A swoops in and claims that B has already accepted their offer to dance earlier and is thus unable to dance with C. Additionally, you can throw in snobbery, finery, and passive aggressiveness where needed. Balls were important social events as much as they were for fun, so outright snubbing someone could make for an interesting turn of events, or the characters could test the limits of how far they could go with veiled comments before they get caught.

Some of my favorite words and phrases to describe a character in pain
coiling (up in a ball, in on themselves, against something, etc)
panting (there’s a slew of adjectives you can put after this, my favorites are shakily, weakly, etc)
keeling over (synonyms are words like collapsing, which is equally as good but overused in media)
trembling/shivering (additional adjectives could be violently, uncontrollably, etc)
sobbing (weeping is a synonym but i’ve never liked that word. also love using sob by itself, as a noun, like “he let out a quiet sob”)
whimpering (love hitting the wips with this word when a character is weak, especially when the pain is subsiding. also love using it for nightmares/attacks and things like that)
clinging (to someone or something, maybe even to themselves or their own clothes)
writhing/thrashing (maybe someone’s holding them down, or maybe they’re in bed alone)
crying (not actual tears. cry as in a shrill, sudden shout)
dazed (usually after the pain has subsided, or when adrenaline is still flowing)
wincing (probably overused but i love this word. synonym could be grimacing)
doubling-over (kinda close to keeling over but they don’t actually hit the ground, just kinda fold in on themselves)
heaving (i like to use it for describing the way someone’s breathing, ex. “heaving breaths” but can also be used for the nasty stuff like dry heaving or vomiting)
gasping/sucking/drawing in a breath (or any other words and phrases that mean a sharp intake of breath, that shite is gold)
murmuring/muttering/whispering (or other quiet forms of speaking after enduring intense pain)
hiccuping/spluttering/sniffling (words that generally imply crying without saying crying. the word crying is used so much it kinda loses its appeal, that’s why i like to mix other words like these in)
stuttering (or other general terms that show an impaired ability to speak — when someone’s in intense pain, it gets hard to talk)
staggering/stumbling (there is a difference between pain that makes you not want to stand, and pain that makes it impossible to stand. explore that!)
recoiling/shrinking away (from either the threat or someone trying to help)
pleading/begging (again, to the threat, someone trying to help, or just begging the pain to stop)
Feel free to add your favorites or most used in the comments/reblogs!

Platonic Prompt
Character A routinely fixes B's clothes. Simply walks up behind them to straighten their collar. Redoes their tie.
Also they're really against B wearing mismatched socks.

do you have any prompts for whumpee confessing their love to caretaker while they're injured?
When Whumpee confesses, Caretaker thinks they're simply delirious.
"I love you." "Say that when you're not high on pain killers." "I mean it." "Mhm." "Dick." "There's my Whumpee."
Kissing them before the fall unconscious because Whumpee isn't sure they'll wake up.
Whumpee grunting out "You're lucky I love you." because they're a tiny bit high and Caretaker told them to hold still when Whumpee does not want to sit still.
Whumpee is doing really bad and Caretaker is begging them to make it because they really care for them despite them thinking Whumpee doesn't like them. Cue Whumpee saying "I don't hate you..."

things people do after having a nightmare that isn’t crying
struggle to catch their breath
grab onto whatever’s close enough to ground themselves in reality
become nauseous / vomit
shake uncontrollably
sweat buckets
get a headache
things people do to combat having nightmares if they occur commonly
sleep near other people so they can hear the idle sounds of them completing tasks
move to a different sleeping spot than where they had the nightmare
leave tvs / radios / phones on with noise
just not sleep (if you want to go the insomnia route)
sleep during the day in bright rooms
things people with insomnia do
first, obviously, their ability to remember things and their coordination will go out the window
its likely they’ll become irritable or overly emotional
their body will start to ache, shake, and weaken
hallucinate if it’s been long enough
it becomes incredibly easy for them to get sick (and they probably will)
add your own in reblogs/comments!

Give me animal hybrid characters that have the instincts of the animal. Make raccoon hybrids want to wash their food. Make people with seagull wings scream and steal your fries.
Hybrids whose first instinct is to attack anything that comes near their young children. Werewolves that get called golden retrievers in their human form because if you throw something they will bring it back.

Prompts about a lord that’s usually cold and detached, but gets protective when one of their best soldiers gets hurt?
No one has ever seen the lord draw his weapon during a fight, as they rely on their soldiers to do their dirty work for them. But when one of the best soldiers goes down to an attack from the heroes, all bets are off as the lord steps in to fight himself.
"Attached?" A grunts, dodging a hit. "Maybe we should target them more often." "Go ahead, most of them will kill you for me." "Who knew it took taking a henchman down to get the boss--Oof!"
Sitting by their bedside with a weapon, not trusting their enemies to not take the chance to finish the soldier off, and often spends the time not staring at the door fussing over them and threatening healers to ensure they get better.
"So is he like...your lover or something?" The lord blinks, momentarily surprised. "What." "You don't do this. Ever. So he's gotta be like your lover or secret child or something, right?" Bonus: A looks back at the rest of the group. "The rest of you guys see this too right? I'm not crazy?"
Sure, maybe working for a dark lord wasn't the best option. Sure, A could've been work in a mill somewhere instead, but there was something satisfying in watching your boss tear through a group of soldiers like it was nothing. Now they just needed to make sure they didn't die in the next hour, or the world will have a lot bigger problem.

Writing Prompt
When the Devil makes deals in exchange for first born children, he means it.
It also means the Devil has a lot of children all competing for the chance to be the Anti-Christ.
