This quote is much needed in my life right now. I just had a meeting about my year abroad in Japan next year. I've lack the will to study Japanese recently but this little insight into my soon-to-be home has made me quite motivated to work that bit harder :)

04.10.19 / Wow, I haven’t been very active on this account すみません! I have, of course, been very busy with A levels (high school final exams) and moving into university! As of right now, I’m pursuing a degree in Chinese and Japanese and I felt like it was a great time to reboot this studyblr/langblr.  If you have any questions you would like to ask about A - levels, studying at high school level, uni applications, my results, all that jazz, please feel free to ask :)

In Spain we don’t say “I feel sick”, we say “hoy no me he levantado muy católico/a” which literally means “I haven’t woken up very Catholic today” and I think that speaks for us.

07.04.17 || langblr community listen up!! I don't if any of y'all are aware of these dictionaries and if you are, then you will know how bloody USEFUL THEY ARE. They're not only bilingual dictionaries but also VISUAL, so they have pictures accompanying the object/ verb. They are relatively cheap and are available in a variety of languages. They're available on amazon :)

what i should do right now: study for a few tests, write a couple of assignments, make a hundred presentations, practice public speaking, exercise, get a good night’s sleep, make art, write for fun what i’m doing: everything else except the things i should do

i love learning new information

i love understanding new concepts

i love learning how to say ‘you’re amazing’ in another tongue

i love knowing how dna is transcripted

i love knowing how chemistry evolved

i love knowing how to perfect graphic design.

i love feeling empowered.

i love being closer to my goal - my ideal degree - my ideal job
