What influenced you to start a career in music?

It's always been the only thing I've truly been passionate about. I got my first guitar in middle school, taught myself how to play and have been doing music ever since! I left college in my sophomore year to join Life On Repeat...music is the only thing that has been there for me always :)

Back from the dead.

I heard this quote for the first time last night, and it literally brought tears to my eyes. Perspective is everything. We are so beautifully insignificant in the grand scheme of this vast and endless universe. Our pale blue dot is such a gift...and the only place we've ever been able to call home. Thank you, Carl Sagan...we need more perspectives like yours on this rare, blue Earth.

A few of the crystals and rocks I've collected. Remember that everything in the universe is a vibration...Every single thing is made of the same cosmic stuff :). These stones vibrate at very specific frequencies and can provide healing and meditative purposes. I believe, through developing our higher consciousness, we can tap into this magnificent energy and love that the universe has provided for us. Did you ever love or get attached to rocks or stones as a kid? I know I did, and I believe there is a reason for it. This stuff should be second nature to us :).

Vices

Human beings are constantly trading one vice for another. For example, “I just quit cigarettes…now I’m eating all the time and gaining weight.” Or, “These pills aren’t doing it for me anymore…I need to move to harder stuff.” I believe we all have immense amounts of energy in us that has to be released. Sometimes that energy gets misdirected into unhealthy vices. The fact of the matter is that we all have to have vices. It’s what, more or less, keeps us sane. Be conscious when choosing your vices. WE ARE CREATURES OF HABIT. If you choose healthy vices such as eating healthy, working out, public service, etc, etc and make them into habits you will become prone to repeating these habits and end up feeling fulfilled because you did something to help yourself and/or someone else. You can literally pick anything. Just pick wisely :).
