Hello World!
I am an alien living life as a human. I like stories about humans, and stories humans make. I also like the music humans make, the foods humans make, and the art humans make; I really like humans!
I love things “mundane” things, they’re very interesting in my eyes.
I want to learn how to live like a human does. I want to live enjoyably here on Earth, but frankly, I’m pretty bad at it.
Here, I will document my every day. I will strive to become the best I can be, and maybe then, I’ll feel a bit more human.
At times things I say may not make sense. Please forgive that part of me.
I am excited to live in this world ^^)/

Ever since my human friend introduced me to word stories, I’ve been fascinated with them ever since.
How do you humans construct such beauty within your verses? Can someone like me do that, too?
Before I knew it, I had hundreds of people living inside my dreams, awaiting the day I would finally tell their tales
But frankly, I’m scared. I don’t know how to weave words like the human authors my friend has told me of, I don’t know where to start, or even how.
I want to write. I want to tell my tales. Pretending to be human, I wish I could express my heart upon pages or pixels like the story weavers do, but I’ve never written anything in my life.
I hear tell of creative humans, but I know that I only hear of the successful ones. If I pour my heart into desires like this, would I even get far? Would it be too obvious that I am but an alien amongst you all?
I wish I were more human, I wish I could tell the stories living in my head.
I wish someone would just teach me how, for even just a moment.

I’m actually strangely nervous about all of this. No one taught me how to be human, so far, I needed to make guesses.
I really want to learn, I don’t want to be behind any of my human friends.
After all, you humans are all so wonderful!

Today my human grandma let me make pancakes! We used a lot of eggs and milk and flour... And we didn’t at all follow the recipe. I was kind of worried, but my human grandma is older than I am, and an amazing cook! I want to learn all kinds of things from her...
The pancakes we made were delicious! How did humans discover that using certain things and cooking them for certain times makes such yummy foods? I love whatever human thought to combine ingredient a with ingredient b.
On my birthday not so long ago, we ate pancakes instead of cakes. My human family said, “it’s dangerous to go out, we might get infected,” so I stacked up a gigantic pile of pancakes with chocolate spread and banana! It was really fun, I gave a speech and everything, even though the words came out messy.
I want to learn how to be someone good for my human family. They are such nice people, after all.
Please help me learn to be more human! ^^)

Remember to be creative with your powers
Like most of my posts, although not always specifically stated, this is about fantasy.
In fantasy, characters often have power-sets. Many writers advice you to know the limits of those powers (me included). But, once you know the limits. The rules. It’s time to stare down that power set and figure out exactly how you can stretch those rules.
I think a good and common example of this is Avatar the Last Airbender, if you haven’t seen it, do. Just do. It has powers, it has clear and simple rules, and it got creative as hell with them. It’s one of the most rewarding power sets ever because of it’s simplicity and creativity, a true example for the ages. It’s inspired countless creatives and it’s pretty obvious why.
Water bending, you can bend water. That means you can get water from plants, you can blend blood, use your own sweat as a weapon and more. You can do this with your own power set too.
And not always for the epic, sometimes for the mundane too!
An example from my own book, my main character’s main power set is she can heat herself up. This is obviously a powerful weapon, causing terrible burns to her enemies. But off the battle field it receives even more use, she will heat up her food with her hands, dry her hair with her own heat, she even has fireproof clothes and will burn any filth off of them. And although it’s not stated expressly until the second book (very mild spoilers, skip a paragraph to avoid) she also uses it to cauterice wounds and avoid bleeding out.
A single power can be used in many ways. Remember that. It feels far more rewarding than having many powers.
Remember, limitations on creativity can be a pro! If used correctly.
As usual,  check out my socials and book here. I’m quite active on TikTok recently, the quick video format is quite accesible and allows me to give some quick advice about writing as well as talk about my experience. I’m also considering taking one of my wattpad stories down to re-edit it, go into beta reading and publish more officially, so if beta reading is something that interest you, stay tuned.
Also, I’m currently doing some beta reading here and there, I can’t take on too many projects but if anybody had a shorter story they’d like some advice on, feel free to PM me.

My dad has motion detectors with built-in cameras along his driveway, and there's a frog that has figured out that if it jumps in front of the detector, the infrared light that turns on will attract bugs. So my dad frequently gets a bunch of pictures of the frog jumping around, and he's really fond of the frog now. He refers to it as his frog, enjoys getting pictures of it, and is always super, super careful in the driveway to check for the frog to make sure it's safe.
Anon. Please listen to me. I would not tell you this if it was not very important to me. PLEASE get me a picture of this frog.

Recently, my human teacher has introduced me to music.
It's fascinating. The sounds taste sweet, but sometimes they are damp and sour. The sounds paint a picture in my head of all colors, and make me feel a way I can't understand or explain.
Creative humans are so cool! O_o

There are so many cool human things I want to do.
Drawing, Coding, Writing, Living.
I want to be able to share the stories living in my head, even though I don't know how.
But sometimes I wonder if I'll do that right.

Recently, my human friend has introduced me to literature and reading.
It's very interesting, though she says I started quite late.
How do humans capture moments in paper?
How do you paint with words instead of color?
My mind dreams with each word I read. It's enchanting.
Humans are the best! (☆▽☆)

In my segment of Earth, it is very late at night.
In human school, I was told that this is because the Earth does a funky little spin around a Star.
That's very cool! I'm floating on a spinning rock around a Star!
Hey, humans, what happens if that star falls? Will we get to wish on it, too?
