This makes me so so so happy as a guy who chews / bites as a stress stim.

The black tag is chewlry as mentioned, (the company is called "ARK chewelry") I am someone who has chewed through cheap chews like dog toys but this black tag has held up. I've always imagined Tommy chewing things just cause I relate to him a lot but I love Tubbo so much and I don't know how I never thought of this. The metal tags are a sound stim, I can shake them so they jingle like critter tags or just I like the jingle sound.

Tubbo does that thing goats do where they chew on stuff. He doesn’t do it on purpose, not really, but it is pretty noticeable. He chewed on the corks on potion bottles during the first L’Manberg revolution. He’d chew the edge of his bandages if they came loose while his face was all bandaged up after his execution. He chewed on pens, pencils, erasers, sticky notes, etc. while in office.

Again, he doesn’t do it consciously. He doesn’t think about it at all really. He’s that kid in your English class that idly chewed on the eraser on their pencil but like. On steroids.

He wasn’t aware of the habit when he was younger, only really having it brought to light by Schlatt while he worked under him, who used it as a way to demean him (even tho he totally has the same instincts but whatever), then by Wilbur who lashed out more and more often towards the end of his life, then by Dream during his presidency, who used it to make Tubbo feel childish and inadequate in hopes of keeping him easily suggestible and manipulated.

So by the time he started living with Ranboo he was very, very aware of the habit, and he did his best to avoid doing it in front of them or just. In general. But it’s very comforting to him- it was probably somewhat self-soothing when he was younger, during the wars and such- and even as he got older it helped a lot with stress.

It all kinda came to light when Ranboo noticed Tubbo was chewing on their shirts when he was asleep. They didn’t say anything about it at first- it didn’t bother them that much and their sleep shirts were already in less than stellar condition seeing as they’d sometimes wear them during the duo’s late-night adventures out in the woods.

But sue them, they got curious and decided to bring it up. Tubbo got avoidant and defensive, trying to get them to drop it and whatnot. There was a moment where he almost tried or began to try to say something along the lines of “you didn’t really see that, maybe you’re making it up. Maybe you’re mistaking it for something else. Your memory messes with you sometimes”, but cut himself off fast when he realised what he was saying because like- that’s so fucking manipulative and sounds like something Schlatt or, gods forbid, Dream would say. It made him guilty enough to admit to the habit.

Ranboo, obviously, did Not Care. His response boiled down to “oh, ok, yeah that makes sense” and then he moved on with his life.

It was such a startling change from the recent past that it kinda really threw him off. I think Ranboo noticed. He talked to Tommy about it and did his best to read up on hybrids like Tubbo and kinda started slowly encouraging the habit in healthy ways, since it did do so much to help Tubbo with stress.

It was little things: not drawing attention to it when Tubbo started chewing on something, or even mimicking the behaviour himself at times in very small ways (like slightly chewing the back of a pen) so Tubbo didn’t feel so weird.

Then slightly bigger things. He bought him things that were safe to chew on and meant to be chewed on. I kinda imagine like that chewlery stuff? I’ve heard those can be helpful for that kinda thing. (Tubbo has a bee he keeps on his keys)

Anyway, long story short, Tubbo chews on Ranboo’s shirts at night when they cuddle and Ranboo’s sleep shirts are in even worse condition than before and they’re very happy about it.

Batman + Joker - DC Comics

They don't truely fit into any category but they are essentially Kismesises minus the sexual attraction. Joker's reason for existing is to be a rival to Batman, and while Batman doesn't, or didn't originally feel the same way he has fallen into the trap so to speak. If one dies, if one loses, the other falls apart, without Batman Joker has no purpose, he truely goes insane and doesn't want to continue, without Joker Batman gets bored, things in Gotham actually fix and in that way Batman also loses his purpose and gets restless. Joker needs the attention, he needs a person to target his puzzles at, he needs someone he thinks matches him. Batman needs something to fight, something to keep him busy and keep him going, they cannot function one without the other. Batman will not kill Joker and Joker will not kill Batman.

They are almost perfect Kismesises, but they lack the sexual aspect, anyways, in the rivalry shinanigains aspect of Kismesissitude, please refer to the Batman-Joker rivaly and stop acting like Kismesises want to kill eachother, Kismesises need eachother. They need a challenge.

Yeahhhhhhh! I love this! I don't have any solid opinions on ships yet, my silly little brain has been busy just trying to figure out all the possible ones before I pick "the best" (that doesn't exist they're always all fun) But I love this!

I disagree in return. (Lightheartedly.)

1. I wasn't saying anything about Terezi subverting gender norms? People just make Karkat really grouchy about being shy and I wanted to point out that he actually doesn't mind it, at least from Terezi, probably because he was also crushing back on her at the time! Like that's canon!

2. All the screenshots I have are from private conversations between Karkat and Terezi only, none of the other trolls can see those messages. Even if she is correcting or asserting herself or whatever, it's in private, and it's obviously not ment to actually put him down at all, she is flirting.

3. The only time Terezi ever says something that could be considered putting Karkat down in-front of the others is actually Karkat being dramatic, she threatens to sharpen his horns into points in what appears to be a weird ambiguous threat similar to "I'll take your kneecaps" or "I'll steal your teeth." And Karkat says if she can really get so close to him why doesn't she just file them all the say down "Sense you're running out of ways to emasculate me."

4. Calling Karkat cute isn't demeaning, it's flirting, calling his horns nubby and stuff is kinda demeaning but it's on par with saying he has a small dick or a feminine face or something, which isn't catastrophic or wild for "13 year olds" or like 7th-8th graders to be doing?

5. It's weird but interesting to think about how "emasculation" is still considered upsetting demeaning in a matriarchal society, is the the same as the human idea of emasculation where it's comparing the male to women? Because that should be flattering not upsetting right? Or is it more like saying the male is less of a male and therefore even further and lower than the females, is troll "emasculation" more like calling someone nothing / useless / worthy of culling?

6. Some side notes: It tells us that short or at least small horns are considered feminine. I have a lot to say on how trolls mature and stuff differently from humans. Terezi has always been protective of and affectionate towards Karkat.

I dunno random reminder that canon Karkat actually liked / wanted to be called cute (by Terezi at least.) He wasn't a sour puss about it or like crabby when she calls him cute and stuff, can you all stop making him so hateful of being cute to people he likes / people who like him?
