so, I indulged myself with a VR headset, the Oculus Quest 2, somewhat recently
yesterday, I decided to let my dad try it out, which was an... experience.
now of course, he's not used VR ever, so you can imagine that he's wowed by it. I started him off just with passthrough, even, and he was still freaking out. then he went into the hub thingy, and was extra wowed.
and even though it took a moment to figure out it was there, he found the mirror that shows you your avatar. bear in mind that I'm transfem, and that he also doesn't know that.
without any hesitation, he pretends to rub his nipples with the controllers for a straight 20 seconds before saying "I'm a lady. why am I so flat?" completely breezed over the whole female avatar thing, and went straight to questioning the bust size of it. and he mentioned that she was flat at least 6 times throughout his exploration of the hub. he sat there and messed with the customization for a while too, and was screwing with the various piercings and accessories. still was more concerned with the whole small chest thing.
quite interesting

does anyone else have that thing where the voice in your head that speaks your thoughts is slower than what you're actually thinking, and it's like a speech jammer for only your thoughts, and it makes you want to snap your neck because you can't think straight?

tell me this, how the hell do the adults in the polar express not believe in santa
since santa actually exists in polar express canon, how exactly do the parents justify the fact that presents do actually just appear under the tree before christmas
